I'm joining! I feel like I could really kill two birds with one stone by getting the rewarding social life I want. It would not only open up networking capabilities for jobs, but be a great way to improve my general social skills (the category I currently suck most in as of now)

Wouldn't life be awesome if we all lived near each other? We could essentially use each other as social proof. Lots of guys on this forum are very successful in both finance and getting laid - and they look the part as well.

Good stuff guys, so there's definitely some interest here.

Okay, so what I'm thinking of doing, is 1 like conference call at the beginning,
to have an overall chat, hear from each member of the group, what their
blocks are, what they are going to do  about it, etc, etc.

THEN, I think the best approach would be to break up into small groups of 2-4
people each. Basically like a mini support/accountability group with one or a few
other guys with similar blocks/goals, etc.

What do yall think about this idea?

I'm all open for ideas, I'm just the facilitator here for everyone (including myself) :)

Well, I'll pony up and offer some Ideas, If we do this, I guess we should all have our own building social life (?) journals going so that we can keep track of each others' progress or lack of.

Style I would imagine is big factor; so posting a pic of us would be important, getting feed back on that.

Working on Charisma skills (social skills whatever you want to call it) another important thing I'd imagine (at least myself) some of us could work on.

Hobbies and actives that some of us do that help us meet people, could be an important thing we could discuss and share ideas on.

I like the idea of smaller groups working on certain blocks (goals) they want to over come, sounds solid to me.

these are just some of the things I've jotted down that could be useful.

Hey everyone, I'm going to set this up soon. I'd like to have a conference call
maybe first week of December. Hopefully that's good for most of you.

The conference call will allow us to share ideas, and how we propose to
help each other move forward. I think ultimately small support groups of
2-4 people would work best for this. But I want to setup a call, because
I think it would be great to share ideas and get support from each other..

Hey Nick you doing a great job here and i like most of your ideas...this is one of the best topics here on gll that i came across.

By the way, great inputs from all the other gll members, thums up!!

I wish i could contribute an idea but nothing crosses my mind right now,
the only thing i could think of is...personally i would prefer a chat system,
because my english is more pleasant and fluent when i write instead of when i speak.

Hey, I'm down to join a con-call.  Not so sure about group chat, but I can attempt to do that.  I think talking to some fellow pimps on the phone would be fun.

If you guys are going to be discussing topics such as cold approach, game, and fucking copious amounts of women then that is right up my alley.

If its more about basic stuff and having friends etc... I would have far less to contribute.

My english is much better when i'm typing it in a chat instead of saying it. Maybe it's because i'm not used to talk english with people, it proberly is, or the fact that I haven't english lessons in school for 3 months.

What kind of commitment are you looking for? What kind of starting level? I'm really interested, but I don't have time for things that super consistent, like AA drills, and my social skills are at a point where I'm trying to get comfortable talking to strangers, not so much trying to build a social circle, though that is a huge goal for me, but I really need some accountability.
