Doing those Thursday Sam!
About the weight, I can only lift so much so I have to start somewhere. I did lower it though cause Idk how I'd do with multiple reps and sets. Gotta adjust first. This is my first actual workout routine I've done. 45's would fall straight to my chest :-\ |

Here's what I worked on today:
Also did some ab exercises. Weights on equipment remain the same as the previous day. **Question- What's the BEST way to go about growing your obliques?** Back Bent Over Dumbbell Row 4 x 8 Wide Grip Pull Up 4 x 10 Cable Reverse Grip Rows 4 x 10 Biceps Standing Barbell Curl 4 x 8 Alternate Seated Dumbbell Curl 2 x 10 Concentration Curl 2 x 10 I'm taking some whey protein afterwards each workout. After a month of this I'm going to add on a mass gainer. |

I'm an ectomorph as well, except for some reason I pack on muscle easily and lose it just as fast (fast metabolism?).
I'll be keeping track on your progress and see if I should switch up my workouts depending on your results. Most important for us is eating. Eat ALOT of food (3000+ calories) and add the mass gainer for extra calories NOT meal replacement. I make this mistake since I sometimes skip meals, not good. |

Some will disagree on the grounds of safety, but the best natural gains I ever got were when I added in 12 raw eggs per day blended in milk, (now I’d suggest using a scoop of whey, but back then protein was stupidly expensive).
Start with just 1 egg, 3x per day and up it by one per shake each week. Discomfort is Growth

So I've been inconsistent as heck these past days so I'm going to post here more often to motivate me to go through with the workouts.
I did my Monday, Tuesday, skipped Thursday because I was out all day but did both Friday. Today is a rest day and I'm glad it is cause I'm real sore. More notably my lower back and traps. I haven't yet increased the weights because of my inconsistency. I plan on adding more beginning NEXT week. I'm in a sh*t position right now with money so I'm going to have to wait a month until I purchase the mass gainer. Killer- Yeah I've been trying to eat as much as I can lately. Been eating eggs here and there like Nytol suggested too. The problem I've had with mass gainers before is that it takes away my hunger/desire to eat anymore. I guess forcing yourself is the only way around this? What's your BMI? Mines is slightly "underweight" las I checked. |

@Scorpion- Yeah thats my biggest problem too. I tend to just listen to my stomach and stop when I feel full. If I keep eating I start feeling sick. Not sure how to get around this, but once I start taking my training more serious, I'll do some research and get back to you.
By BMI is 20.2 which is average but I've always been underweight. 6 ft and 145lbs at the moment. |

Don’t waste your money on ‘Mass Gainers’ they are shit.
You would be far better off just adding the eggs to some whey, and it will be cheaper too. A mass gainer is normally just protein with some maltodextrin or other cheap carb added, then some bollocks written on the label to think you are getting something special, when you are not. Many protein powders/mass gainers add certain gums into the powder to supposedly improve the consistency, but like you they fill me up and bloat me, which totally defeats the idea of adding them in. I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
