I've not been keen to do it since i already squat and I have herniated disks in my lower back but worth a try.
And I've rolled several times with a guy who does the hip thrust, small fellow but he's the toughest opponent ever to keep on top of, explosive af.. And my mount isn't half bad. I last maybe 15secs tops trying to keep him down lol
First 15 mins we went over a escape from back mount. It was pretty easy until leg locks were introduced. After that we rolled the last 40 mins. I was surprised to have some good endurance. Got submitted a bunch of times, but I held my own for the most part. I'm getting better at "surviving" as a white belt. You win if the other guy can't submit you lol.
Tomorrow I'll be going to a Gi class in the morning.
