If you're losing weight without a fat burner and have no complaints - then don't add it!
If you hit a plateau, your options are to:
- Decrease calories.
- Increase cardio.
- Add fat burner / whatever.
Then you can decide which one you wanna do. But you wanna have tricks up your sleeve instead of using them all at the outset.
If you're way too hungry then yeah an appetite suppressant can be nice. Just remember that most of the supplemental fat burners are pieces of shit and the only thing they'll burn is a hole in your wallet. Even hormonal stuff like Clenbuterol and T3 only have a mild effect on fat burning.

Thanks Termi - I'm losing plenty of weight at the moment and I don't need an appetite suppressant. I'm just more concerned that I'm losing more muscle than fat at the moment and wondered if a fat burner might help. But it sounds as if that's not what they do.
Once again, it comes down to patience, rather than any miracle supplements. I need to eat more, cut more slowly and take more time over my weight loss. If it takes me till June before I can see my abs, then so be it. It's just so tempting to starve myself and cut out carbs to try and get it over with. But that's counter-productive.
I don't want to stop doing cardio (even though I hate it), because I want to have a strong and healthy heart. So I need to stop using the 'decrease calories' trick.
No matter how motivated you are right now, you might lose that drive if you make things unnecessarily difficult for yourself. The more patient you are and the more tricks you have up your sleeve the easier it'll be to motivate yourself. (It seems I'm always doing the opposite, but every time I'm reminded what a bad idea it was )

My calipers arrived today. Using them, I estimated my body fat at 12-13%. The skin fold around my stomach measured 8-10 millimetres, depending where I measured it. Let's hope I start to see that number drop over the coming weeks.
I've created a new diet plan that should, I hope, stop me losing muscle so fast:
I brought carbs (oat flour shake) into the gym with me for the first time today. I did the cardio on a stomach empty except for BCAAs and then had small sips of the oat shake before my exercises, particularly the squats and deadlifts. I had more than half of it left at the end, so I drank that as a post-workout after my protein shakes.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
