This guy is a lying piece of shit. You know how I know? Show me 10 studies that has evidence for his claims. I'm 99% sure there are no such studies. That means he has no idea if what he's saying is true. Even peer reviewed studies can be wrong and that's why scientists wait until many studies are done and repeated before they say something is true for sure. The nutrition and fitness science world is full of a lot of bullshit mainly because:
A. Metabolism and biochemistry is complex as fuck and there's tens of thousands of variables at once. B. These variables differ from person to person based on a lot of things. Each person is different and different things will work for them. C. You can't easily isolate the variables. You'd need control groups JUST for things like height, weight, bodyfat, hormone levels, etc, to do a study that got anywhere near isolating variables. It's too damn expensive to do that. You can run two studies exactly the same way and get different results just because you're testing a different group of people. tl;dr Don't trust half the "science" on nutrition and fitness that you see. Experiment and see what works for YOU, and don't always expect that to keep working as your body changes. |
