Not to hijack this thread haha but CFC this is the body type you can strive for when you're leaning down. Being 6ft tall and 10% body fat no matter what your weight is, is going to be beneficial no matter what. Lean face is probably the one thing you'll need that will dramatically improve your success with girls. Looking like you lift with a shirt on is definitely a plus but having a lean face trumps that way more. Once you have the lean face, you basically want to lean bulk until your face starts putting on fat again then you cut again. Rinse and repeat. 4 - 2016 and before

After reading everyone's replies I'm assuming aesthetics you mean getting lean. Well if your natty it's a bitch and even enhanced it's a bitch. I'm not an enhanced lifter but I'm debating it nothing heavy though sarms would be the max.
But anyway diet wise find foods you like that are not complete shit track weight weekly and increase decrease calories depending. I think a slow cut is better than a fast one just for sanity reasons. I would start light with increasing cardio them ramp it up slowly as you plateu. Chicken veggies rice pasta is fine. I know bodybuilders say no carbs but they are enhanced and cuting to single digits i think 10 percent is fine below that i don't think girls can tell and you lose a ton of size and hard to sustain for long. Just remember your probably a higher bf percentage then you think. But once you get super skinny you've cut too much. Refeed days are another thing i like cut 500 calories a day then do a refeed once a week. Random numbers i just picked. Heres a rough bf chart from athleanx everyone is different because of how we store fat but it's close enough Till the end of 2020

I am not really sure how it works exactly, I can look dramatically different even at around the same body fat though, so I have come to the conclusion that is not the whole story, although being lean obviously helps plenty.
In fact actually over the last few days I did the meat and veggies thing, ate a bunch of steak and salmon, cut the carbs, and was not getting any leaner, felt alot worse, and actually started looking worse which I was not expecting. Then I loaded up on bunch of healthy carbs including even lots of sugar, felt good again, and my face is looking sharp again on another fast + water, although I take stimulants which I'm sure is part of it and I can only do that so much without losing my sensitivity to them. I don't really know what the fuck is going on and I'm sure every person is different as well, one guy might look amazing doing the meat and veggies thing, another guy might look like shit. I don't really know enough about it at the moment myself to give much advice other than to stay in my lane and just share my personal experiences, but I would definitely say in this thread: Really try to take care of your health or you may end up regretting it later and just cause it's OK now doesn't mean it will be years from now. And do not wait to get on top of this stuff cause while it's probably doable at any age, it does get harder the older you get in my opinion. And secondly be careful with the no carb shit, I will not say it does or doesn't work, but I would just say be careful especially drawing it out for really extended amounts of time. Everything in my gut always pushes me away from no carb or low carb everytime I try it or experiment with it. Honestly I can already get my face where I want to without having to get leaner than I am now, but only with extreme measures that work temporarily and which also tend to stop working as well if you continually do them, so the problem is just keeping it there consistently, I'm sure getting into alot better shape will help alot with that hopefully, if not I guess I will just accept being a ugly short man most of the time lol. That and possibly PED's, but I will max out what I have naturally cause I know I haven't yet and go from there. I've actually been feeling alot better the last few days too, but I have been eating a shit ton more fruits and veggies, drinking a ton of water, eating 100% clean, fasting back and forth, etc, so hopefully that trend will continue for me. I have a history of drug abuse + drinking+ smoking so I was actually starting to think maybe I was just wrecked but the last few days have made me feel hopeful at least. Addictive personality type. Probably also related to why I am chasing intense kinky sex all the time with new girls. I am also currently hard drug alcohol and smoking free so I'm sure that helps alot too. Be careful out there, you get one body, take good care of it. |

Ur right. Everyones body is different and will respond differently. I had the same shit for the first 2 weeks when I swapped to meat and veggies, felt really bad. Just like I feel like shit for the first week waking up at 5am cus my body clock is adjusting. I think it was just the withdrawal symptoms from carbs and sugar... And at the end of the day getting leaner is about calorie consumption you can really eat whatever you want. Gotta take everything with a grain of salt n see what works for you must lift more

I'm curious how you felt / sex drive / sexual performance / energy while you were at your most shredded peak? Was it the same, better, or worse? I guess I would also not only like to look really good but also have super high sex drive that I am used to and don't want to feel like it has to be one or the other. Do you have to trade aesthetics for performance at the highest levels or do you feel like you can do both at the same time?

The effect wasn’t so much from being shredded as from being physically mentally exhausted. I was waking up at 5am, getting to the gym at 6am then doing my 9-5 and another session after the gym. I’d get home at 8-9 and make dinner and sleep. That was my life 5 days a week and I’d train on weekends too. Not to mention holding myself back from going out and drinking. That being said.. when I went out it paid off. I’d like to try it again and make a few changes. I still made mistakes and perhaps went a bit too hard. I met my ex when I was at my peak and we started dating and she was super time consuming so even though I’ve never really slacked off.. the 3 hours a day training lifestyle took a backseat. I would like to try it again. I’m ramping back up but I want to do it better this time. I want to have less stress and be smarter about it. Live closer to work. Be less rigid and more understanding of myself to minimize aggravation and maximize enjoyment of life. I had no problems getting it up... or fucking lol... on the contrary I was fucking better than I ever had before.. if you train like a top level athlete you will perform like a top level athlete in whatever you do. That being said after 8-12 weeks of cutting you need to start bulking again.. do all the good things like listen to your body and don’t let yourself get worn down.. and use the extra time you have to approach so you can enjoy the spoils I was also living pretty frugally at the time and perhaps doing too much at once.. by all means go out every weekend but just go easy on the drinks As far as general energy I had more energy than ever before... sure I was beat at the end of the day but I felt very alive. And I’d say plan a vacation or something fun at the end of it if possible... and get some good pictures. That way you’ve got that moment forever and can use it for tinder even if you soften up a bit ![]() must lift more
