So I have a complicated kitchen situation ever since I moved to NYC. In my last city, I was able to cook and make my own meal but the cost of living was a lot cheaper. Right now I am living in a prime part of NYC with 3 roommates (you heard that right!), the good thing is that it is close to a lot of the quality bars and places with fun shit but unfortunately you don't get a lot of bang for your buck here in Manhattan.
I do kind of miss having a decent kitchen situation in my last city which was largely a shitshow when it came to game. In NYC, if I want that I will have to live in a part of the city that is not so fun at all. Roommates and their shit has packed the refrigerator, barely have space for anything other than a couple water bottles. I kind of did this for myself based on GLL's legendary fat loss diet, the one that says to avoid carbs for the most part and work out on an empty stomach. Might invest in fat burners too. I have a protein bar for breakfast, try to avoid ones with a lot of sugar alcohols in them. For lunch, I try to do a salad from a local deli, try to limit the dressing. For dinner is where I occasionally get indecisive and go wild but lately I've been going to a Chipotle type of place or a salad bar type of area. Now this is when I am disciplined, honestly the temptations of NYC are strong too. Sometimes there are happy hours we have and we all go for pizza afterwards, that's me being honest, no doubt that is doing damage. A lot of weekends when I get drunk, these days having those Truly drinks since they are practically club soda and Vodka, I go for pizza afterwards. Much of this is me maintaining my discipline but was hoping you guys could give advice. I am particularly curious to know what to have for breakfast. |

The thing is, once you build your body to where you want it, you can afford cheat days (although not every weekend). You KNOW you're fucking up here. So there's your answer. Building an elite body is one of the hardest things to do. It's a mental game. If you're going to live the lifestyle you described, you might never get there (I know this from firsthand experience). You can definitely eat healthy when you're disciplined though. Order meat only at delis. Skip breakfast, do Intermittant fasting. Don't eat dogshit pizza every week or more often. The more non "on point" days you have, the further you get from your goals. 24 Years Old

I feel like the intermittent fasting part is going to be rough for me, I get hungry in the mornings a lot, could be a genetics thing and I have to be on-point at work. With the way I am planning this, I am going to workout and lift in the morning and I hear you have to eat soon after you lift. |

Dude. I lived in a big city with 5 other roommates in an apartment and I still managed to cook my own meals all the time. We had a tiny ass fridge, half the size of a regular one. (there was only 1 bathroom too...)
tell them to clear some of their shit out. If you pay rent. You deserve part of the fridge or buy a mini fridge for your room. The fact that you *HAVE* to eat out is kinda ridiculous. Even then, it's not hard to eat clean in NYC. I'm sure they have anything you could ever want. Keto meals, protein only meals, salads, sushi, whatever you want. How do you eat clean while eating out? You don't eat garbage food, that's it. Same way you don't buy pizza pockets everyday and eat those. If you're serious enough about your goals, then you'll make time to cook meals, you'll have the discipline to not eat like shit and you'll have the discipline to clear a bit of room in your fridge for your own shit... I'd also drink less. Probably the worst thing for your gains out of anything else. Kills your gains, kills your productivity the next day and it's empty calories. 4 - 2016 and before

Buy a mini fridge, buy a crockpot or a slow cooker, push both into the corner of your room and just make stews and roasts and chili and shit.
Eat until full before you go out. Hard boil some eggs for breakfast. For whatever reason, after eating just like a few hardboiled eggs my stomach feels overly full for the small amount of food I just ate. Priority: GET PAID

In the interest of health, everyone should be limiting vegetable oil consumption to absolute minimal levels. This will be very difficult with regular restaurant consumption unless you can find an accommodation. Look into it if this is novel information. If you're consuming a lot of the stuff it IS holding you back in every area of life.

There are lots of low carb options you can get from fast food places -- basically just meat (chicken, beef, eggs) and some veggies. They are pretty cost effective too, McDonald's around me will sell 1/4 pound beef paddies for $1.50 each (less than $20 a day to each 3 lbs of beef -- no cooking required).
www.zerocarbhealth.com/zero-carb-ordering-from-mcdonalds/ Also try Googling for "keto fast food" Current Goals:
✅ Lose virginity ✅ Have sex with the same girl a second time ✅ Overcome AA ⚪ Have sex with the same girl a third time ⚪ Move to a city with better dating options by the end of 2020 ⚪ Get to 140 lbs with 10% bodyfat |

We used to go to Fatburger and get "JUST the paddy," .5 lbs is $2 bucks. So $6 bucks, you get 1.5 LBS of straight beef.
Yes it's oily but it's better than most alternatives. Free condiments too. Or go to In N Out and order just paddies. They're like $1 each. They're fuckin tiny so I usually order 10 with 2 sauce packs to make them edible. Fuck the fries and drink. 24 Years Old

Holy fuck. This ^^^^^ Just went to in n out and ordered the lettuce wrap double burgers. 9/10. I'm intermittent fasting and this was my one meal yesterday and god damn was it good. I know what people are raving about when they go to this place. Wish they had it in Canada for realz. (lets keep in mind though... This isn't healthy, it's just healthier than getting the buns too haha). 4 - 2016 and before

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
