Also, low SHBG is 100% expected on TRT. Exogenous Test (TRT) causes lower SHBG, and that seems like a good thing since it means more Free Test.

I had normal free test levels always even with Total Test at 260 (17.8 pg/mL) [8.7 - 25.1 range]. 30 pg/mL at total test 420.
Science is still not clear on many things. One of the hypothesis is that:
free test is very fragile on it's own, and can't pass through tissues. SHBG serves as a transport that carries test around and then releases it (SHBG half-life is around 6 hours). Low SHBG (<20) in this case means that most of test gets destroyed very quick throughout the day (natural production) and doesn't get to target tissues (even on TRT).
Low SHBG is known to company all sorts of serious conditions: obesity, cardiovascular issues, cancer etc.

Glad to see you're getting your health and shit on track! For what it's worth, these are some of the things I believe help with boosting test:
- Paraben free toothpaste, shampoo, and body wash. If you guys can get SuKin in USA I'd highly recommend it - it's pretty much the gold standard. It's scary how much shit and chemicals everybody puts in everything
- Certified organic, hormone free, free range meat and eggs. If you can get wild game it's even better. In Australia, we have kangaroo meat, which is one of the best red meats you can buy - have a Google search of kangaroo vs. beef and you'll see why
As mentioned in previous comments, sleep and stress are massive contributors to test as well.
The thing I struggle the most is with time and being healthy - it's so hard to prep all of this shit. Good luck and looking forward to seeing how you progress!
Good luck on cutting back on tech. I really think internet/phone/computer is designed to exploit certain tendencies of the human mind that seek distraction. As crazy as it may sound it really monopolizes our consciousness. Cut that out and watch productivity, focus, drive go up. When I was out at sea this past year with no internet all I noticed how nice it was to step away. Now that I'm back to normal life on land all the bad habits came back though. something else to work on
I'm trying to maximize my testosterone right now both to look better and to feel better cause I'm definitely slowing down some now that I'm older. In the past I could feel pretty pumped even with bad habits honestly but I think those times are coming to a close.
I'd rather try and get it as high as naturally as possible first without having to go on gear or HRT or something. Or try something even more radical.
