Hi Guys,
I've been cutting since about 10 weeks. First I've started with still a few carbs in my diet but around 3 weeks ago I've switched to 0 carbs, high fat diet. I started at about 15+% BF and am now at around 11%. I feel so much better already. In short: -First two girls I've could have had sex with I couldn't get an errection. (My age was 18 at that time). -My last girlfriend who I was together with for 2,5 years broke up with me 10 weeks ago. Couldn't get hard with her too the first few times we tried. I've used Cialis and never had a problem again (except once in a long while, but nothing that would made me think). -Met a girl from cold approach recently. She came over last night. I couldn't get fully hard or maintain a errection again. I am worried since I thought I had this problem fixed and it was psychological the first time. I don't know if it's from the diet now, or psychological. What is different now on the diet is that I even can't get hard without porn or atleast pictures of girls. SO I think it is less psychological. Did any of you experience the same issue while cutting? |

I am doing 0 carbs and have no issues with this. Don't think anyone can answer this for you. It could be purely psychological, maybe porn induced, zero carbs, caloric deficit, low testosterone...
I would start with a blood test and nofap. |

It’s not because of low carb or high fat, it’s because you’ve been cutting for 10 weeks. After a while your body responds to dieting (a.k.a. controlled starvation) by shutting down everything that isn’t required for survival. Reproduction is on the top of that list.

Mate, there’s no reason to go zero carb unless you have some insulin sensitivity issue that you’re trying work with. Yes, just like dietary fat, carbs are important for erections as they play a role in testosterone, serotonin production and other important sex-related hormones.
Chances are your protein intake is too high (way above 1g/lb bodyweight) or your fat is too high (over 100g), in which case i’d lower either a bit to substitute some carbs in. |

Rapid weight loss almost always coincides with rapid libido loss.
Cialis is an option. I use Cialis (generic from some Indian pharmacy recommended ages ago here on GLL) and it really does work (for me). Temporarily unavailable as I need to focus on other areas of my life. Only focusing on no more than two goals at once. Best of luck to you guys.

Guys, thanks for your help. I think it happended because of the long period of caloric deficit and especially carb deficit.
I will take a diet break now as recommended in the article from sweatervest. Yesterday I took a pill (something similar to Cialis) and it worked. Fucked her. But I don't want to become dependend of any kind of pill even while losing weight so next diet will probably be with atleast some carbs in it. I am not overweight (11-12% bf right now) so losing weight fast is not my absolute priority. Slow and steady.
