This is my first post I've ever made to this forum and will most likely be my last. No offense to any of you, GLL just isn't my thing and the type of women I'm attracted to don't resonate with all of this.
Anyway, I just simply wanted to offer (what I certainly deem as priceless) information that I have recently discovered on my own, simply by doing it myself. That is that putting ice on your body fat the same way you put ice on a bruise very dramatically and quickly eliminates body fat. What I do is simply take an elastic belt and fasten it (hard) around my midsection and then slide ice blocks or ice packs under the belt so that it makes direct contact with my skin. I do this for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening while watching TV and I have noticed DRAMATIC results from it. I've even been eating like a pig throughout this holiday season and I've still noticed fat loss. I've had glass after glass of eggnog, cakes, ice cream, candy, alcohol, etc etc etc. What is happening is that the ice is freezing the fat cells (because fat cells freeze much faster than other cells) and freezing fat cells kills them. Then the fat cells are eliminated from the body through the immune system. This is effectively the same thing that "Cool Sculpting" does except that you can do this for free and I think it works even much better. This is BY FAR the fastest and most effective way I've ever discovered to eliminate body fat and this actually kills the body fat cells instead of simply reducing their size (which is all that the no carb/sugar diet does.) Doing this does not even require you to be on a diet!!!
Anyway, just for the sake of my own legal protection I am not advising anyone to do this, I am merely stating that this is what I do, I know for a fact that this works (beyond elation for me) and anyone reading this is free to check this out for them self to see that it actually DOES work. I also need to stress very clearly to anyone considering doing this to be extremely careful not to get frost bitten in doing it. I would never start out doing this for 1 hour like I am doing now. Instead I would try it for 15 minutes at a time and if your skin shows no sign of frost bite, gradually increase the amount of time doing this. Frost bite will cause permanent damage to your skin.
I am open sourcing this priceless information because there have been far too many people for far too long who have struggled with having ideal body composition. Body fat has also been a huge factor for far too many people for having an early departure from this world. Perhaps many of you reading this have had family members or friends who have past on due to complications that originally sprang from this issue. Therefore I simply ask that you tell other people about this. That's why I'm telling you.
Im skeptical about the amazing results claimed, however i think there may be some truth to it considering cold in general seems to help burn fat, something about the body having to work extra to heat up your body... and also would ovbiosuly not advice doing this over training/dieting even if it is as amazing as claimed..
I've posted about this a couple times. I can confirm it's a real medical procedure. (Although it's called "cryolypolisis" not "thermogenesis") Essentially skin freezes at a lower temperature than fat, so you can freeze (kill) fat cells without damaging your skin cells.
[EDIT: Misread. I thought you were talking about the actual medical procedure, not just strapping ice bags to yourself. Highly skeptical about this method.]

I think skepticism in general is always a good thing as long as it doesn't cause you to close off your mind. Any one of you can check this out for yourself right now if you want and it won't even cost you anything, it's totally your choice.

So those of you who who are condemning this without even investigating it for yourself, as far as I'm concerned, you have absolutely nothing to say. If you condemn anything without even having the willingness to check it out for yourself, you do not deserve to have anyone pay any attention to you not just about this but about anything else that you might have an ego inflated opinion about. Anyone with even half an ounce of reason and intelligence will realize this about you also.
Probably the biggest reason I don't spend much time around groups like this is because I realize that it's packed full of jocks. To me there's nothing more pathetic than a jock because a jock believes they know everything about everything while trying to condemn others who dare to expand their mind. That doesn't go to all of you reading this because I don't think all of you are jocks but I think a whole lot of you are. To those of you who have a problem with what I just said, TRY THE ICE unless of course you're too much of a coward to see that what I just said about you is actually true.

Well, all that swimming he's doing is in very cold water. Your body works very hard to maintain a steady temperature of 98.6 degrees. If you stick it out in the cold, it's like a house with a theromstat in the winter: to keep the same temperature, it has to work harder, and use more electricity. Your body has to burn more fuel to keep your body temperature up when you expose yourself to cold. I've heard people suggest that even drinking a lot of cold water throughout the day can raise your metabolism slightly, though who knows by how much.
Interesting, but I've never tried it so I can't comment on how effective it is.
