They help with cutting and are EXTREMELY important for your health. Eat cucumbers and stuff like spinach/kale/broccoli/brussel sprouts/leafy greens to fill you up at practically no calorie cost.
Once you're done cutting as really hard, add carrots and blueberries to your diet at the very least. If you have a small slot for sugars do it now. Also, I'd suggest getting a juicer and juicing vegetables if you hate eating them. You get a cup of stuff that even if it tastes like shit you can chug in 10 seconds and its the nutritional equivalent of three days worth of the healthiest salads (minus the fiber but you can get that elsewhere). On the days when I have a cup of carrot + kale/spinach/other greens juiced I can fucking tell my skin being better, that's how noticeable the health benefits are. Cernovich (the danger and play guy) has a lot on juicing.
Thanks a lot last week I watched a documentary called fat sick and nearly dead. It really helped me understand how important vegetables are. I actually really like cucumbers I can eat them all day. After alot of trial and error I've realized that my body does better on a low carb diet but what do you guys think about bananas and apple or even pears. Or just fruit in general I don't eat any starchy carbs like bread or rice, but if I'm getting any sugar in my diet it comes from fruit is that good or bad. I probably eat 2 bananas a day. And everything else is a protein like chicken breast or eggs.
Get my shit together = Having my own place, Get my body the way that I want it= getting down to sub 10% body fat. Having sex with women, only after I've reached my goals.
Bananas - good source of potassium and best pre workout snack for me out of everything out there. All the extra sugars and shit dissipate through the workout.
Apple - if I ever eat a bunch of crap and have a stomach ache before bed I eat an apple and it takes care of it. Any time I eat it I feel healthier instantly. Whatever it does to your digestion is amazing.
Pear - good for you but sugary, they're delicious but I don't usually eat them.
If you're doing a hard competitive bodybuilding cut then you will probably want two weeks of hell with green beans, eggs and unsalted boiled chicken (my ex who lifted competitively used to do that and I could barely look at it).
Eat carrots and blueberries too. All this stuff can be juiced as well (except no point with blueberries) and cucumbers, carrots and apples have a high juice yield.
Good idea is to eat veggies (say cucumbers) first thing and chew them a lot. Kills your appetite if you're trying to cut.
Finding very low/no calorie additions to make lettuce taste decent is a very underutilized tool to getting ridiculously shredded imo. Having giant bowls of salad is one of the most satiating meals you can have in a calorie deficit that won't impeded your results and is super healthy. No need to go through your entire cut phase feeling like your dying of starvation. Just make sure you don't load up on some dressing or something that has high fat and calories or else you will just end up gaining fat. Some balsamic, with some tomatoes and other random things tossed into a giant bowl of lettuce, and you're looking at a very satisfying meal with minimal calories.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
