Sup guys I'm not sure whether I should continue bulking or cut up a bit. I went from 130 lbs to 200 lbs bulking and gained some fat along the way. I'm probably around 18% body fat. I would really like to get cut up because I'm looking soft, but I'm also not done bulking.
I feel like I have made a more than respectable stride bulking and a cutting phase wouldn't hurt. I'm currently doing a Cyclical Ketogenic Diet (5 days high fat/protein, 2 days carb load). I'm soon going to start using several supplements to speed up the cutting process and help maintain mass as the same time. Is there any reason I shouldn't cut now since I still plan to bulk quite a bit? I'm thinking after I get to ~10% body fat I'll start LEAN bulking again, where as my prior bulking was all "dirty" calories. You are not even close to 18% youve got man boobs dude. Thats close to 30% right there. Cut and dont stop until you are under 10% as verifies by hydrostatic bodyfat testing. I did something similar i went from 120 to 190 very quickly many years back and i was delusional about the situation too.

Yeah you're right I think it's closer to 25% than 30 by using the eyeball chart. As far as the moobs, it doesn't help to have fat there, but I have "puffy nipples", not gyno. Then again, I've never been extremely cut even at 130lbs so who knows. |

Dont even think about doing steroids yet my friend. Get on a diet and get yourself to a normal bodyfat first, that should be your number one priority. It will probably take 3-5 months. Then you can start building some lean muscle mass. And you dont have gyno, at least from what i see here, its just that you have high bf %. |
