Has anybody had any luck on getting your calves to grow. I naturally have skinny calves and it really bothers me. I want these fuckers huge. So I am just looking for different routines to incorporate into my workout.
I will definitely try that. I know what you mean for the machine that works out the front I've been on that now for about two weeks. I've been only working them out only once a week though. It makes sense tht they should be trained a lot in order for them to grow, I going to start doing them twice and then work up to about 4.
I started training my calves first in my leg workout since I usually train them last. This seems to let me work them out a little harder since my legs aren't always tired by the time I get to that muscle. I started doing this after watching a Kai Greene video where he trained his forearms first because he was always playing catch up with them. Seems to be working for me and maybe worth a try if you're not already doing that.
My calves have always been bigger naturally... so I've never tried to build them up, but I find that the placement of my toes really makes a difference. Every set I do... however many reps you want... I would say you point your toes forward for 1/3, outwards for 1/3, and inwards for 1/3. For example, do 90 total with 30 of each. I get some serious burn that way. Try it out and see if you like it.
