Hey guys i wanted to know what the the GLL community thought about Starting Stength?
Squats every other day seemes a littlle excesive to me but im open to trying out the program if you guys think its a good program..

- Lose AA for groups and people around.
140lb to 160lb.
Its a great program for beginners, if you are going to keep it 100% natural (specially for ever), it will be probably the best foundation you can get. Dont worry about squats 3x a week, you will be able to handle it, keep going up on the weights and you will start to like them.
Squatting every other day worked for me until about 375 lbs workset weights. It's a good program to build basic strength levels, but the upper body volume is lacking for physique purposes. You can increase the upper bod lifts by 2.5 lbs per workout when they get tougher. After you gain decent strength levels (say 200/300/400 bench squat dead) you can focus on more bodybuilding type stuff.
