Thanks yeah well so AT an actual rave obviously people wear some wild fucking shit and it's all good really. My point in bringing that up is that partying is a part of my lifestyle, so for this profile picture, I just want to demonstrate there is more than one side to myself, that beyond being a businessman I also have a tougher, street edge to me and frankly I wouldn't want to attract girls who are strictly looking for a straight laced guy because obviously I want girls that like to party too.
But if the beater and chain are outdated looking that's very good feedback, I just need to know what direction to head in instead.
It's almost impossible to find photos of guys my age pulling this look because the vast majority of fashion pictures are selling clothing, and the majority of people as you say don't live in Florida, so the majority of photos are layered outfits. If you search "men's fashion 30's" you get 100% GQ type stuff.
Frankly though I gotta admit, just throwing up these two photos of me in the tshirt vs. the tank I think I look better in the tshirt.
For party style try Jason Statham look and for work and day to day look go for steve carell.
Sometimes a well dressed suit works in a club or a party.
thebull wrote: Listen man, tbh it is difficult for the community to give advice on how a 38 year old should dress for a rave/party in humid tampa bay since there are not many folks in here that fit the criteria.
People here keep telling you unsolicited advice for some reason when you keep saying that you are asking specifically for advice on rave/party style for older men but nonetheless some of it is solid advice.
I have no clue as to how older men should dress for a party or even what kind of parties you attend, what is the scene like so this makes it difficult you know?
Do you have any pics from guys you would like to emulate, obviously you are not dressing like steve fucking carrell to a rave. But what kind of look or what kind of style you are trying to emulate/portray?
I agree with the whole wife beater/chain it looks outdated at the least, but who the fuck knows maybe the scene you're into in tampa everyone still wears those.
Helps us with some suggestions, some pics of guys whose style you like and we can all work from there.

Almost Zero matches on Tinder profile photo help

Boom. I had to go with clear glass studs for now, because you can't take them out for the first two months, and it is not possible for me to be wearing visible earrings for the next 6 weeks until they heal up, but I'm stoked, I think they're gonna look good.
Bunnyman wrote: Damn those are some good pics. No idea why you wouldnt get any matches.
No they are not!
Are you getting laid from online dating?
and GreenDragon, that's a good point about the raves. I missed that that was a factor. I'm not really sure what people are wearing to raves now, I was assuming you were hitting on girls going about your day/online/in bars.
Count: 102 (30 from cold approach since finding GLL)
1. Net business profit $5000/month ($3054 / $5000 so far) 2. Quit kratom completely (DONE)
2. Raise testosterone to 800+ (361 / 800 so far)
I'll tell you the harsh reality of the number one thing that will max you out.
First off, the first picture on the very first post is the only perceivably attractive usable one imho.
Second off, invest in a hair system.
You have a good face, seriously (at least you do in the first picture, it looks like you've gained too much fat in some of your other pics).
Your hair is gone though, and even with a hardcore prevention regimen, you likely won't get back to a strong baseline.
Get a good hair system, along with your face (when lean obviously), plus a style overhaul, and your results will take a 180.
I skimmed a couple posts and saw guys advising against the graphic tees and some of the other outfits you're wearing, which I also agree with, and I posted in a thread called graphic tees yesterday, I advise you look at that, but the main thing that will fix your issues is the hair, and getting your lean face back.
Your style is important, but even with perfect style, the hair and fat will hold you back forever if you don't fix them.
Sure you can go in denial and throw Toppik on it, change your hair style to a negligibly better one that's still receding + thinning, and just change your style like 99% of guys will suggest, but I'm telling you man, get a fucking hair system, you will not regret it.
Get shredded + great hair system + fix your style and you could be a stud.
If my hair loss ever gets bad enough, I'll be all over that shit too.
Bunnyman wrote: Sorry didn't mean to sound like I actually know shit, you guys are the experts. But if you guys are saying this guy's profile pics are bad then holy shit mine and so many others I know are horrible.
The marketplace will always tell you if your product is good or not (your pictures).
If you don't get results with hot women, your pics aren't good enough. Period.
^ Rule of thumb for any online dating app or website.
Weird honestly. Didn't think your pics were that bad (not 0-3 matches bad) I fuck some hot chicks off tinder and I dont consider my pictures to be miles above yours. I agree with the haircut, go get a fade and grow out the top. Your hair isnt that bad you have it still and can rock a longer top shorter sides style. Get leaner if possible, thats a silver bullet for anyone (even most neckbeards would get laid if they had the discipline to diet down to 8-10%).
And keep taking pictures. Only thing I can say is you look a bit too serious in your photos (not a bad thing, but when you have the same serious face in all your photos it can be) I've got the same issue I don't smile and I always thought smiling in photos was a bitch move but honestly most normal non hood rat people like it. It shows you're human.
I don't think your style is horrible but I also wouldn't rave about it. Style is something personal and there are different shades and pulling it off has a lot to do with your personality too. Plenty of guys in australia rock a street look with tattoos and chains and pull. Still doesnt make sense to me that ur only getting 0-3 matches ur a decent looking above average guy hey ur not at the top of ur game yet but something dont add up

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
