I'm on Bumble in NYC. 48 years old. I can easily get 20 matches a day when I swipe. But only about 30% will send a message. The rest expire. Frustrating. Best looking girls are on bumble.

I think I'm going to can the online dating apps for a while. I've had a good run. I think most of the girls around the area have seen my profile. In addition, I really have a hard time connecting on an attraction level with the online thing. Probably going to take a couple months off, get some professional pics through my buddy, and give it another crack.

Couple things now coming to light in this article:

Bumble isn't like tinder. It's real time. So you need to be swiping during peak hours. This is according to the CEO. So I assume it's not bullshit.
