I think girls like context. A lot of guys have no shirt pictures. You could say that there are many kinds of meat on display. It doesn't set you apart like you skydiving shirtless would (or surfing, boxing [bag ok], or whatever.
Context can also be this:
Make an impression. Weights rooms. Balls. Running.
Bwahaha I used my social freedom to get a selfie with a girl. It was literally so easy, I just walked up to her, complimented her, introduced myself and told her I wanted to take a selfie with her. Next time I gotta get the chick to lean towards me instead of me leaning towards her. And maybe approach a group of chicks and ask one of them to take a pic with me and the others.
