Good article. I'm well past my 20's, but these ideas are still relevant.

More finance and occupation related tips and guidance from the older guys on here would be appreciated from me. Stuff like if you could go back in time to the start of your 20's what would you do differently.

I'm 29 so i don't technically count as an old guy, but here's what i would do differently:
1) STOP drinking and pissing away thousands of dollars a year 2) I didn't go to school, and i wouldnt change that. If you're young, do not go or else go to community college and get a practical education. 3) Do NOT make chasing women part of your life. Be a big stacked guy with a great career and or business, and women will come to you. 4) Be selfish and look after number 1 - everybody else is 5) Religion and spirituality are cons designed to extract money from you. We evolved here, we are animals, we fuck, eat, shit and die. GET MONEY. DO WHAT YOU WANT,. TRUST NOBODY. Thats all I've gotta say. |

Take care of your knees and back, you'll need it in your 30s and beyond. That means proper lifting techniques at work and the gym.

@G Freedom I agree with Number 1 and Number 4 .
Number 3 doesnt sound 100 % correct in my opinion. Chris said he didnt have that much success with women until he was 26. He then finally went out and talked to many many girls to have some fun and trying to get their numbers and doing other stuff. I know what you mean by chasing but still... 2020 Goals:
Get first tattoo 1/1 DONE Get laid twice from cold approach or Tinder 5/2 DONE Cut down to 92 rock hard kg (currently:95 kg) Improve Reflux and stomach ulcers 2021 Goals: Get laid 3 times 1/3 Start driving a lot again DONE Improve Reflux and stomach ulcers Get better at technician job Cut down to 92 rock hard kg with joint-saving workouts only; no more Ego lifting (currently 103kg) |

TL;DR: If you're in you're twenties sit in a room and cry that your teenage years are over.
Sorry for the lengthy post in advance. I'm 35 and I had cancer when I was 21. It took me years to fully recover from that, mentally, emotionally, and physically. The best advice I can give you would be to not get cancer in your twenties. In all seriousness I would not have married my first piece of ass. I got lucky in that we're actually a good match and she's still pretty hot (36, starting to suffer from middle-age spread :'(). I would have waited until I figured out what I really like in a woman. I really get turned on by tiny, little, dark-haired spinners (you know, those ladies that are tiny enough to spin around on your cock). My wife is actually pretty close to that, so I still get turned on by her but if I had it to do over again I would find someone who a.) came from money or b.) had a ton of ambition to rival or exceed my own. I would also marry a girl 10+ years younger than me so she'd always be hotter. I would also marry a girl who enjoyed working out so even as she aged she'd remain in decent shape. I would even put it in the pre-nup that she remains hot or she gets sent packing. That's assuming I got married at all. I'm also pretty sure I'm not meant to be monogamous, so I would find someone who understood that or I would have been a serial dater. I'm personally coming to the conclusion that marriage is a bum rap for guys. It was potentially a literal life-saver when I was going through the cancer, but your odds of dealing with something like that are slim. I didn't figure these things out until I was older. TL;DR: DO NOT GET MARRIED UNTIL YOU ARE AT LEAST 32-35!!! A college education gets a bum rap in this thread. It's because too many people go into stupid degree programs. Going to school to become a teacher is a poor economic decision. You will never get a decent ROI. Go to school for engineering and you will have a decent job with good satisfaction, good pay, opportunities, etc. Learn electrical and/or software engineering and hook up with other smart people to start a company that could make fuck-you money. Or just enjoy a nice salary at a job that gives you plenty of time off, autonomy, etc. Go to school for medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or to become a lawyer. Don't do the latter unless you can score high enough on the LSAT to get into a top-tier law school. I recommend a math or engineering bachelor's degree before any of these advanced degrees. Look into what it takes to get into med/law school while you're a freshman and do those things. For example, you probably think it's better to join a ton of clubs and activities but it's actually better to completely own a very small number of clubs (get elected president, make significant changes to it, have a dramatic impact through the club, etc). If you truly hate math get a philosophy degree that's heavy on logic - but only if you're sure you want to go to law school - it's largely useless otherwise. For those of you even younger and still in high school worry about picking up chicks later - do your fucking math now. Do your fucking of girls later. Seriously -- for the most part your classmates are not having more sex than you unless they're in a proper relationship with a girl. Don't waste your time on a lame-ass business degree. Those students tend to be idiots unable to reason their way out of a paper bag, let alone actually solve business problems. If you want a business degree get an engineering degree and let your employer pay for your MBA. Don't go to school just because that's where hot girls are. If you don't know -- and I mean truly know why you want to get a college education don't go to school right away. The girls will always be hot in college and if you actually take a couple of years off between high-school and college you'll be hotter to them. Join the military if you're willing. They no longer fight for 'freedom' and instead protect the interests of the ruling elite, but you don't care - you'll learn discipline, can get into great shape, and get your education paid for. All while networking with other military personnel. All you have to risk is death or dismemberment. But all joking aside I wish I had done that. If you're not doing the above get into a skilled trade like welder or electrician. Welders make damn good money if they're willing to travel to areas where there's a boom going on. The education costs a hell of a lot less, but it's tougher on your body than a professional job. I would have started at least one business or put more money into retirement. If you can put a hundred bucks away a week (stop drinking and see if you can come up with $100 a week) in your twenties and eventually work a job even just above the median income you can retire in your forties. Maybe even retire in your thirties if you work enough jobs or start a smart enough business in your twenties. If your business falls flat you have time to recover. Work 100 hours while you can (but only if you're being compensated) -- even in your thirties this becomes more and more difficult. Pay for escorts when you need to get your rocks off and don't have time to pull or set up a network of fuck buddies. And finally, I would have played way less video games. Maybe none. This was my bad habit. Find yours and get rid of it. Or control it to a reasonable amount of time. Don't let worthless pursuits like that consume your time. I wish I had discovered MMA and Krav Maga in my twenties. My 35 year old cancer-damaged body is too old and frail to get into a cage. A good kidney shot could put me in a serious world of hurt. But learning how to truly fight and defend myself gave me a greater boost in confidence than anything else I've ever done. Similarly, I wish I had discovered strength training. You will never get gains as good as those you can get in your late teens/early twenties. Your body recovers fast and is tough and resilient - take advantage of that and enhance it. Too many twenty-somethings these days are soft little dough balls. Don't be one of those chumps. Swallow your pride and get a mentor. Get ten mentors. Find guys in their thirties and up who know something you want to know, and learn from them. Ask questions. You don't know shit. You actually know less than shit because most of what you know is wrong. Shut the fuck up and listen to people who actually know shit. When they're done explaining or showing something then ask questions. You may actually already be ahead of the curve here in asking the good looking loser guys how to pick up girls. |

I agree with you on college. It CAN be worth it. But it depends on the alternatives available at the time.
Army? Min. Wage Job? Probably not... I wouldn't have a successful business(es) if it weren't for college. I'd be a mid-level personal trainer. but nothing i "learned" is actually useful I lost my brother to cancer - Im happy that you were able to beat the shit of it Please no Private Messages. I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
