great post.
I'm happy knowing that at my 23 years old I won't fall into that fucking trap,we only live once, why do you have to complicate your life? Some people say, well you're young that's why you say that now..but I think what the fuck what's the sense of getting involved into that lifestyle? If one day I want to have kids I'm sure I won't get married or anything like that,I will find a women who shares the same view of like as me.. And the statement of "Many women are deep into this and loooooves to use all their money on new shoes all the time. Some of them might even want a man who can provide them with a SICK consumer lifestyle where you might come up short if you dont' display that" I can remark, many many women are deep into that, specially the hot and really hot ones, but It doesn't matter as long as you're not their serious boyfriend, fuck them and let other consumerist guys do the hard work haha |

Good post , Im in the middle with this one , One thing is i dont get drawn into adverts (I dont watch TV so that helps) but even if i see a AD and see something that i may want i will look at reviews etc to make sure what im buying is going to be worth it.
But then on the other side i like buying clothes , Watches and i spend on things that improve me , I would like to get more of the Spartan mentality , Though recently i have barely spent anything simply because i havent had the money too. |

Hi guys
sometimes I get disappointed when people say that it's no worth to follow your dreams, that is bullshit and that at the end you will realise that the only solution is working for the corporate work or for the government...what the fuck? |

Im living on $300 a month in the Philippines. In a gated community, in a nicer style than the US.
How do I do it? Well, I own my house debt free. The Philippines is a place where I can afford to be poor. Granted I go without a lot of the luxuries I took for granted in my Blue Pill era. Probably the biggest thing was cuttng out the pre-prepared food. I am not quite there but I am getting close. One thing about here is that Filipinos are as obsessed about consumerism as Americans. They also have this weird passive aggressive bullshit and envy mentality thing going on. Yet being the outsider I dont really feel tied to their level of bullshit so I just dont really care when it comes to the consumerism stuff. That said living here has its ups and downs. Electric is double the rate of the USA so fans and LED lights are the norm. I got air conditioning but I dont use it much. Cars here are double the cost of the USA, Had a couple cars, now I just use public transportation. Food, I buy raw ingredients and make myself. Everything from ketchup, to hot sauce I make myself from basic cheap ingredients. I seldom eat out in restaurants except when working on the road. If I had to go back to the USA I could life this lifestyle, although I dont think I could have done it without doing it here first. |

I made the mistake of burying myself in useless shit in my 20's (Just turned 30). Had a packed house, 3 cars at one point, motorcycles, a garage full of tools, music collections and more. All this stuff caused me to have to work a ton of hours to pay for it all, and than spend my free time maintaining it. Never really getting the time to enjoy it.
I finally sold it all off about 6 months ago. From personal experience, the minimalist/spartan type of lifestyle is the way to go if you want to do something purposeful with your life. Not doing fucking oil changes, renovations, "hunny to do lists" , and shopping for sofa tables in your free time while working 50 hours+ at your shitty "secure" job. Never again. Bang chicks, workout, build a business, travel, take risks, live lean. Don't buy into status items. Never mind what your friends/family/girls are telling you what you should do because 97% of them are oblivious on how to live a great life. I hope every guy on here is smarter than I was. |

I spend my 20's working a good job and living a spartan lifestyle. I stopped going to work a few months after 30 and I have been just living off the money I saved for the last year and a half. The advice in this thread is SAGE!!!
I still think its important to spend money on the thing that you are most passionate about. I spent a ton of money on travelling and on Motorcycles, no regrets at all. I am sure big expenses are coming my way soon too and I will be able to handle it since my overall overhead expenses are almost zero. GOALS:
Make a million dollars by age 35 Get laid enough to keep my sanity |

I'm going to rant here a bit, so don't mind me.
Anti-consumerism is lame and try-hard IMO. Tell me something I don't know. I know that having the iPhone X probably won't make me happy until the end of time. But guess what? It's still pretty fucking cool, isn't it? Have you worn a $2000 coat before? It feels awesome. The whole "Fight-Club" mantra, "you're not your wallet"-nonsense is mad gay. It makes me think of a 16-year-old who just watched that movie for the first time and thinks he's discovering something which nobody else knows. Once you hit puberty and fuck a couple of chicks, you realize most people who buy useless garbage do it because they like it, not because they're brainwashed slaves or whatever you want to call them. They know it won't "make them happy." You're not smart for realizing "things" don't make you happy. Yes, buying useless shit doesn't make you happy. Brilliant. Buying an $80,000 car on a $35,000 salary is not a good idea. This is all passé shit everyone knows. Buying a $750,000 house on a $40,000 salary is probably not a great financial decision if you have plans to move to Brazil for 6 weeks to live on a beach while playing guitar and trying to fuck fat-assed Latinas. The truth is most people don't care about "banging 100 chicks" or traveling to 100 different countries like the way we do. They're perfectly happy having the same group of 12 friends and a middle-class job. |

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
Kratom is next!
