I used to follow Bold and Determined around the time I first read GLL's articles. While it was not en par with the latter in my opinion, it was still very much part of my (multi) daily time wasting reading. RIP and all the best to Nicholas (or Victor Pride, whatever he calls himself these days)

He also deleted all his tweets, removed all his vids, stopped selling all his books and products. What the fuck.

Imagine building up 10 years of material, pouring your heart and soul into it, and then one day just turning around and saying "Everything I believed was wrong. I have no faith in my own principles. But you really should believe me when I say I'm now religious; I definitely won't just drop that in a year for no reason and randomly switch my principles around again."

He built his entire website around the principles of masculinity and stoicism and standing for your values. Then he flip-flops on those values/principles.

I can't respect that. That's the most unmasculine thing I've ever head. I also don't understand deleting your entire website as if you're ashamed of your past. He didn't even have anything controversial on there - the majority of his stuff was about building a business. How the hell is that in conflict with the Bible?

@Gabo, what do you mean latest manosphere trend? This is the only site I currently follow right now. But that's insane man, what an extreme change, literally from one end of the spectrum to the other.

This is my opinion and it may be an unpopular one but its his life he is free to do what he wants to do. If he wants to become very religious and delete all the content which he made on his website he is free to do so. Hell even Cernovich got rid of Danger & Play a while back another site that motivated the shit out of me. It's his life. He's even providing multiple e-books for free boldanddetermined.com/books/
I personally think you're not obligated to do something you don't want to do anymore. That includes a job, relationship, or a blog/website

I'm trying to understand what appears to me to be a completely irrational, nutty thing to do. Memory-holing 10 years of your life's work and then becoming a religious fanatic does not seem to me to be a rational, well-thought-out thing to do.

Actually, I'm comfortable stating anyone who's this much of a religious fanatic (read the comments he has written on his blog post) isn't rational.

I remember in his last few podcasts he talked about freemasons and how the world is basically run by devil worshippers, at least from what he found through researching it, and he was kind of pushing Christian values in them too. Maybe he's decided that money is somehow evil or something. He did kind of just abruptly end the podcast, and I think he changed his article topics up big time right around then too.

Good for him if he found his preferred lifestyle, seems like a pretty big decision but I think he's been leaning toward this stuff for a while.
