...how was it? I'm 19, I've been with three girls, not doing well at the moment, and searching for meaning and something to do. My best option right now, given my situation and ASVAB score (95) is to go to the military and get out of my small town. I'm trying to go to the air force for firefighting, but it isn't guaranteed. Other option is navy. Can anyone weigh in on their military experiences? And... did you get laid at all? I know soldiers are hot and all, but how hard was it to meet new people? (No, I'm not going in to get laid, but it is important if I devote 4 years to it). I'd appreciate your experiences, because college isn't an option and I could stay here forever if I let myself. Thank you
I dropped out of HS and joined the Navy when I was 17. Best thing I ever did other than having kids.I got out at 21 and had an engineering degree within 5 years.
Personally I think military service should be mandatory of all american men. It just seems fair to me. I think everyone regardless of class, race or education should have an equal opportunity to die for this country. Makes me sick to think that most of this countries lawmakers & politicians are sending us to war. When very few of them having sons & daughters getting shot at.

Theres plenty of insight from older threads on here
Goals for 2016
1. Pass all classes and maintain financially stable. 2/3 semesters
2. Beat approach anxiety
3. Fuck 10 above average girls 7/10
4. Prof pics and max out online profiles
5. Get a job being a server or bartender
6. Move to better apartment complex
Also your ASVAB score doesn't mean anything. It's the GT score that determines how many jobs are open to you.
I was in the Army. Didn't get laid but that was my fault but I made some really good friends and got to travel. And it is easy to meet people. You're Forced to interact with people of all backgrounds on a daily basis. And soldiers aren't hot.
I'd have to check the numbers again, but my GT score qualified me for anything in the air force is what I was told. But this isn't about me bragging, it's about the social life. So it sounds like it was decent, which is good to hear. Also... dunno what girls you've been talking to, but I think anyone with a bit of a social life has hear about "men in uniforms". Of course looks determine hot or not at the end of the day though. Thank you for your input

I wasn't trying to say you were bragging man. Just want you to know what the important factors are when choosing your job in the military. Also, the being in uniform/defending the country thing is what is attractive not the physical appearance. Remember, everyone was a civilian at one point. Most military don't look like the jacked/handsome/strong jawed men you see in the posters and commercials. A lot of military are barely in shape and barley passing and often failing PT tests. A lot military dress like shit like when they were civilians. And a lot of women that find military attractive are uniform hunters because we have "stability, meal tickets and full benefits" written all over us whether you're in Korea, stateside or anywhere else. You'll learn about that quickly in the military. It's pretty much a well known joke among us about the naive private that marries a stripper, Korean juicy girl or other undesirable because she wanted citizenship out benefits.
Being military can help but when you're living in a military town, it means less overall especially when there are going to be better looking military dudes who are jacked and have more interesting stories
Nah, I was saying I was bordering bragging, you're good. I understand the whole uniform chasers thing... could be used though, no? And you're completely right, the majority is, well, average or below. I don't plan on being in that category though, nor am I now. As for the top 1% guys (ripped, better stories, better looking), well, they win. But I like to think I have some decent looks, and I believe I can compete enough to be thoroughly satisfied. And that's enough for me

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
