I did a masters and got in a phd because all i wanted to do was stay in college haha.
Truth is life after college gets pretty mundane... lots of people settle into really stressful jobs and don't have a whole lot of fun with their lives. straight up college is the best because of a huge social circle of friends who are all going out and having a blast. All the GLL red pill stuff appeals to me because it is physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually impossible for me to settle into a life where all i do is work and get into debt buying shit i don't need. Going my own way can be really painful at times because i'm not doing the normal thing... but deep down i don't want the normal thing. The best part about college was that i could have fun but still feel productive and normal cuz i was studying.
Maybe you're like this and just want to do your own thing. maybe you do want a legit career/job and are just missing all the fun in college. Either way, if you had a blast in college of course you'll miss it when it comes to an end
Seriously, it was a blast. I'm working in an office currently and man it's so damn boring. I have absolutely zero motivation to do anything after the days done let alone hit on girls. In school Id literally walk out of class and there's chicks everywhere and now I actually have to make a conscious effort to drag my ass to where women are. Lol I guess that's life after college.
I don't miss it at all. I graduated on April 1st and moved to Montreal on April 30th. No looking back.
Now I have the freedom to do whatever I want whenever I want. I have a sales job that has me at a different shopping mall every other week where I basically hit on women all day and sell products to customers.
I'm a waiter in a nightclub/lounge where there is hot women coming in every night.
I hit on 4-5 girls everyday through cold approach, and get more pussy and have more freedom now than when I was in university. I banged around 50 girls during my 5 years at university, the majority of them in my final 2 years, but with the way things are looking now, I'll probably be having more fun and getting laid more/making more money now than I ever have in my life.
Why would you work in an office? Sounds lame.
I never understood the whole "life blows after high-school/university/after age 21/after whatever" mentality. You can do literally whatever the fuck you want.
Life is infinitely better after college.
I moved to one of the coolest cities in the world,
I have an exciting, good paying job with awesome hours and close-knit coworkers.
I pay for all my own shit so I don't constantly feel like a parasite like I did in college.
I can do whatever I want with my place because I don't need roommates.
I literally fucked more girls in the past year than I did the entire time I was in college.
I only hang out with people and girls I WANT to hang out with.
I structure my life so at basically any time I could travel anywhere i want.
I never get bored.
My days are packed from start to finish with either fun shit, or productive shit.
I look better and feel better than I did in college.
I don't have to fucking study a bunch of shit I don't want to know/need
I don't have to suck my professors dicks.
I still have to suck their dicks.
No more external pressure to drink/use drugs.
Still have the option to do the crazy shit I did in school, but choose not to becauseI got my fill.
I can do LITERALLY ANYTHING I WANT with my life
I can live ANYWHERE I WANT
I am currently doing exactly what I want to be doing right now: fucking tons of girls
As soon as I'm done with my girls phase, I get to start several businesses and will make even more money
I could go on, and on, and on. That's just what I wrote down in like 60 seconds.
Your life should be AWESOME after college. There's no reason it shouldn't be. It's 100% up to you to make it happen.
And keep in mind, I went to UCLA and was in a frat. I had the full OG college experience. I would still choose my life over that any day. Then again, I hate studying
Thanks for everything you guys. It's time for me to move on to bigger things!
Yea it is pretty lame tbh, just about everyone's old enough to be my parents. The job/pays good but I feel like I'm dying inside as the day goes on. Like my motivation is good in the morning and literally decays exponentially as the day goes on then by 4 I'm soulless.
I literally did whatever I wanted in college so that part never changed, actually I had more freedom then since I never went to class... so I guess I'm missing the social aspect and I didn't even have to make an effort with chicks because they came to me.
Idk Ive been a little down/depressed recently.
Rousseau and BIb I get the being able to do anything you want now but you couldn't do it in college? I never studied either and just crammed before exams and did fine. Maybe it varies for everyone but college was literally like a paid vacation for me lol.
Just graduated from UMD and yes I am getting that exact same feeling you are talking about. And this is from someone who had literally 0 social life in college (all my lifelong lays came this year (7 after coming across GLL). I was always decent looking but I transformed my self from above-average to sexy-as-fuck by simply 1) empty stomach cardio/basketball in mornings 2) followed gll style 3) wearing 2-3 inch shoe lifts. Those three things sky-rocketed my sex appeal and allowed me to really make the most out of my last semester of college. I am still going to be in the same city working as an intern and I am planning on going to the bars here 2-3 times a week to make up for my absolutely pathetic social life in college lol. Luckily I found GLL this past year and some may say "well it is too late." However, I look at it as I made it here on time and I am about wreck these freshman. However, after this year, just as BIB and others have said, I am hoping for my life to only get better and luckily I have found something that I am deeply passionate about and look forward to chasing my dreams in this passion.
I just interned at a small up and coming city as an engineer and here's what I experienced:
1. You now have money, enough to regularly go to bars every week, get into a hobby other than weight lifting, and ultimately get a nice car/apartment
2. More and more guys around you begin to drop out with growing waistlines, boring lives, money issues, and at some point bad style
3. A lot less cliquey
While there are a ton of girls on college campuses, there are a ton of guys as well. However, once the real world hits, those guys fizzle out in two ways. I know multiple guys who put a ton of work into their macros, diets, and weight training. They are in excellent shape and have some nice abs. I later ran into these guys after they graduated, and they were still working at their same old jobs. On the other hand some of these guys do put effort into getting internships/leadership/making the right friends and find themselves in great jobs. If they haven't already stopped going to the gym and eating healthy, they stop once they realize that a full time job is time consuming and they stop going to the gym and continue drinking. In a year they now have noticeable beer bellies. This especially applies to banking/accounting guys who work upwards of 60-100 hours a week. Top that off with former high school athletes who may retain their low fat muscular bodies freshman or sophomore year but become fat by the time they graduate.
While this happens to girls as well, most cities still have colleges nearby. While you are still attracted to those girls, that hot 22 year old won't be attracted to hot broke college guys.
TLDR: If you did the right things in college it gets better. Since you have money you become more attractive. Most of the top 20% of guys fizzle out either by moving back home/working minimum wage jobs or they grow a noticeable waistline because they stop or cut back on the gym, continue drinking, and eat junk food.
One Lane, it sounds like what you miss is spending your parents' money.
No, you don't have freedom in college, because you don't have money. Okay, if you're just pretending to go to college and aren't going to class, just passing your classes by cramming for tests, then yes you have a lot of a free time. But you have way more freedom in the real world. You probably aren't going to build a business empire while you're in college lol.
If your entire college experience was being funded by someone else, then yeah, that'll probably never happen again. It's the only time in life when you live away from your parents but still have someone feeding/babysitting you.
There's a limit on how great college can get. You can only be so popular. Even if you're the fucking coolest guy at your entire school and everyone loves you... that's as good as it gets. Once you get into the real world THERE IS NO LIMIT. If you want to make it happen, you could become some insane hedonistic sheik person who just fucks high class whores and has servants feed him grapes all day inside his golden palace, hooked up to an IV heroin drip. That literally could be you. You just need to make it happen.
How good your life is after college is only limited by your own imagination. College is structure. It appeals to followers/type B personalities. But if you like control, and want to design your own lifestyle, life is better after college.
You're just panicking right now because the change is shocking. You only just graduated. Give yourself some time to acclimate and it will dawn on you just how fucking rad things are about to get.
Life takes a DRAMATIC downswing right after you graduate. But the thing is it takes TIME to build yourself back up. Life won't be instantly awesome after college, but if you work you ass off and play your cards right, in 2-10 years your quality of life can far surpass what it was.
Thanks for everything you guys. It's time for me to move on to bigger things!
Yeah I agree with what's been posted above.
I personally don't miss college much at all.
Being on your own and having the freedom to do whatever you want with your time, in my opinion, gives you a more rewarding life.
Sure, you do learn some in college but I've only been out a year and hardly remember most of what I've learned lol
Thanks for the detailed responses guys, I really appreciate it.
Ressurection, I will never let myself go in terms of appearance. I've been going to the gym since I was 14 and it's one of the very few constants in my life. I take great pride in my appearance but you are totally right a lot of guys fizzle out and get lazy.
Addressing the money issue, my parents did pay my tuition so I am really thankful for that because I don't have any debts, but I also had internships where I worked hard and made money for myself. Financially I am pretty well off actually I got a great job right out of gate and have a really nice pad.
Socially speaking my life is definitely in a severe downswing at the moment and I can't seem to be able to stop it. That's what I miss the most thinking more and more. Everything was just so, what's the word, easy and accessible. Always chilling with friends, generally not giving a shit, endless young, hot available chicks. I think I am still stuck and haven't fully accepted the fact that aspect of my life is going to change and I am a little scared right now. I don't post much but I still read some posts from time to time and some of the struggles are not fun.
Like I remember that post you made a while back BIB where you struggled with cold approach (btw big congratulations on turning it around) and if that happened to me I don't know if I'd make it because I never went through really tough times. College just had so many available girls. I haven't approached since I graduated and I really don't know what to expect honestly.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
Kratom is next!
