I read a post on GLL about wasting your time and i thought i needed a turn in my life. I deleted my facebook a week ago so i wouldnt waste my time there. Facebook replaced with Instagram and GLL(mostly gll). I feel like i'm spending way too much time on gll and other time wasters. I could do something proactive instead but i don't know what.
Basically my daily "routine" - Go to school, then gym/muay thai, then out with friends(not all the time), then home. I feel like i'm wasting my precious life and time.
Recognition is half the battle. At least you know your wasting time / life and are looking to spend it in a more productive manner. 90% of the people in the world would be happy doing what you are.
You sound young. As an older guy I wish I would have traveled more as a young man. I also wish I would have started a business, even if it would have failed I think I would have been better for the experience.
Find something you really get excited about and see if you can turn it in to a business. I have known several people like that in my life. They jump out of bed because they can't wait to get to work. I have had it a few times in my life, but have had to do what ever it took to pay the bills for most of my life.
Take risks now, while you don't have a lot to lose. Once you get married , get a mortgage have a few kids taking risks is tougher because you have to take others into consideration. When your young and single you can do what ever you want.
Like Chris says " just do something " take some action.
I'm already spending my time on self improvement sites, this is what i want to change. I want to do something all the time, instead of facing my smartphone.
I know that 'taking action' is a key. I really should be starting businesses etc. But i'm on a point in life where i want to get things handeled on specific order. Get laid alot, get ripped, start a business.
I can't start with the first one because of my logistics. Small town, living with parents, finishing school. I'm ready to earn and save money for my future, but i can't at the moment.
I'm still working on my self and getting ripped will be atleast one goal i'm gonna achieve.
HELP ME HELP YOU. If you're looking for image, fashion, or style advice, please post pictures INSIDE THE FORUM (if possible). You're more likely to get a response. Clicking to links outside the GLL community is a nuisance.
Hang out with friends. Drink a little. Take a break from the books and watch a football game.
Social stuff is part of the big picture. Can't be all about work and study all the time. Travel must be nice too - even locally.
Make time with your dad if you have a good relationship is another. Same goes with mum. Cooking together can be bonding. When you move away to the big wide world, you'll value that later. (Depends on how you and your family are.)
Otherwise, gym 3 times a week and play with your dick if you think it needs it (?). Lol.
Pick up a hobby that you might be able to monetize later in the future. Choose something that is productive, that can add value in your life.
One way to go about it is to give yourself short term goals. Let's say 3 months. What can you do/learn within 3 months?
Delve yourself into artsy activities.
Ex: Photography, Painting, Calligraphy, musical instruments, design. And for each of these hobbies there's software tools related to them.
Personally for this year, I dived into stock investment for the first 3 months of the year, then I started driving for Uber on the side.
I'm planning on starting to brew beer at home as a hobby, since making Alcohol is part of my family's tradition. All of these are productive activities
If you've got too much free time (aside from like 2 hours to replenish your energy) you're doing it wrong.
Pick a goal and put all you have to it.
If your #1 goal is to get ripped and you've already hit the gym /did cardio and prepared your meals switch all the energy in this day to #2 goal.
I don't recommend you reading self help books. Read a single good one and apply concepts in it (again - thank you Chris ). Tom Hopkins official guide to success is really good but you don't have to read it,just read GLL's articles and
apply this : I HAVE TO DO THE MOST PRODUCTIVE THING AT EVERY GIVEN MOMENT
I 've read this one and have it , I can scan it for the community if Chris approves piracy , if not you can get one from ebay dirt cheap.
My #1 in 2016 was to get job as a programmer. I thought I'll need a whole year to accomplish this. But hell no.
From new year's eve I went 10 hours + a day programming and already got a job. I got more progress in 3 months going hard than in 2 previous years without focus.
Again thank you Chris, finding this creepy website with your dick pictures changed my life lol , best website on the internet with actual applicable advice not some woo woo hippy change your mindset bullshit

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
Kratom is next!
