I mentioned this before, but high top converse are good if you just want something casual. That's the one downside to lifts - you can't wear them with low tops.

@FS-Ronin: so you're saying 5'11" is enough for us 5'9 guys? What do you use right now?
I'll be using them only for night life. |

5'9 is enough for you 5'9 guys. But every little helps. Just by some 2 inch lifts from amazon. |

The size is only for the front part of the shoe, not the heel. There are different measurements and you can cut it to match your shoe size. Since your shoes are bigger you won't need to cut it and can just stick it in there. They will probably still fit and work for you. The insoles may move around a little bit but it is still worth a shot man. Only 20 bucks. |

question for u guys with experience using these, when u say 2 inch lifts do u mean 2 inch insoles on top of what the regular shoes give you? whats a safe amount that can be used with dress boots/shoes that already have like 1.25 inch heel so it doesn't look obvious? I'm a little paranoid about the change in height if i were to take them off

Yeah. I wear my 2" lifts with high top converse. The converse add about half an inch, so I go from around 5'5.5 to 5'8. With boots that are 1.25 inch, you would be 3.25 inch taller than you would be barefoot. This isn't really a lot, in that it won't look that obvious. It will make a positive difference though. |

Haha that's awesome, I mostly wear dress boots with already a good 1.25" heel, might add some 1" insoles too and see how it goes, couldn't hurt right? I had some buddies working in constructions and I think their boots were already a good 2" thick and you're right, there really isn't too much of a difference. Everyone lies about their height nowadays anyways. |

I wear the same thing when i go clubbing. Dress shoes with high heel and 1' lift. I noticed a difference, but on club guys already wear dress shoes, so in comparison to other guys not so much. However, I think most girls attractiveness for height comes from the eye level that lookup to you....short girls needs to look up higher to get that instant attraction, taller girls not so high...so I don't think it's really about comparing with other guys in the venue so much. I need to try with 2 inches lift to make myself 6' with shoes and see the difference. I'm already thin framed which is bad because it makes me look weak(girls rejected me for that), but on the other hand I appear taller than I am for shorter girls, my best demographic, 3/10 girls under 5'3 feel some kind of attraction towards me. |

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
