Good question. They were the ones advertised on GLL's blog I can't remember the exact brand. They were good though but as the poster above said can get uncomfortable. If you've never tried them by all means wear them out a few times and see if it makes a noticeable difference. Height to girls is like tits and ass to guys so more is usually always better must lift more

5'7" isn't even that short. You are 5'9" with 2" lifts. I wear 2" inch lifts all the time and have gotten zero feet issues from them and find them just as comfortable as no lifts. Anything 3" and above I find to be a pain in the ass that isn't worth it. Honestly if you are actually legit short, like the real version, you are better off just accepting it and getting as much confidence as you can about it. Don't try to cover it up with some stupid thing like 6" inch lifts or something, just accept that plenty of girls don't want to fuck your short ass, and honestly you can't even blame them, and just focus on finding the few who do cause they do actually exist. |

Could use dr scholls if worried about long term , stack them on eachothers. And if girls ask you have arch problems so it only seems like your taller as a benefit of arch issues. Haven't tried but I've heard of it worth a shot. Will want shoes with an ankle cover or could get shoes with it built in.

Height is a HUGE difference in person. I get waaaay more eye contact with 2 inches of lifts in. 5'9" to 5'11" is a cheat code for anyone below say 6'2".
In photos it is less important, but still worth it. Tom Cruise is 5'7" which is "very short" to women eve though average height is 5'9" In his movies just like sylvester stallone, they shoot alot at hip height or lower than eye level to make them look taller and stronger. Lowering the camera is a trick for looking taller especially for landscape shots or medium shots (where your eyes don't detect a camera height as much). If you actually ask girls, they usually think average is like 5'11" because they don't notice the guys on the lower end. Here is a post on the insole layering method which worked much better comfort and support wise than the bubble one. Insole allowance from more to less Boots (2.5 inches) > high/mid jordans (1.5-2 inches) > fitness shoes (1 inch) www.goodlookingloser.com/forums/look-goo...-7-inch-boost#219618 To me, 2 inches is the sweet spot where it won't be noticeable that you are boosting. Plus too much boost or too soft of a boost and you get clumsy footed lol PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

nice thanks for sharing dude. i just ordered the Spenco® PolySorb® Cross Trainer Insoles - #4 (M10-11 / W11-12) $11-17 amzn.to/1iiL2m6 gonna start with one and to test out sizes to see what outsole size fits what shoe size, but hey even a 1 inch boost for me would be cool. I'm gonna try it on my stan smiths, do you take original insole out when you do this layering? GOAL: Financial Freedom

For stan smiths (low top) you probably won't be able to do much boosting because the ankle is low. I have a skinny foot and I would probably do:
ATHLETIC SHOE SPENCO **1/2 INCH HALF ELEVATOR)** ORIGINAL INSOLE SHOE The half elevator may put you over the top depending on your foot. These half elevators are crucial because they are stiff (more stability) and they allow you to raise heel without raising toe. Air Max and Ultra Boosts already have an extra 1/2 boost built in if you really want to MAX things, but they are less casual fashiony and more athletic leisure. I've used two spencos with the firm MAX version on top in boots or jordans when going out with long pants or jeans on. The higher you get the more firm you want them. Squishy shit makes you unstable the higher you go. The spencos you ordered actually make shoes more comfortable. I've been wearing them 100% of the time even before I cared about height. BOOTS/MID to HIGH ANKLE ~2 inches SPENCO MAX SPENCO **1/2 INCH HALF ELEVATOR)** ORIGINAL INSOLE SHOE I've also used two original insoles as a micro adjustment play around with them

Yea you're right the stan smiths is low so just the polysorb already filled it out a lot,
I bought the Men's 8-9.5 and was worried they would be too big for my 8.5 stans, but it seems ok. The front part curled a little bit but i pushed it into the shoe hard and tried to spread it out as best i could, when i put the shoe on it felt very soft on my feet lol, definitely comfortable lol. I can see how with more height it can't be squishy like you said, itd be too unstable. But yea i just barely feel the heel to toe incline which was worrying me the most, so this is like an effortless .6 inch height increase lol which is cool, cause im in the a 5'8" - 6'0" critical height range lol I'm constantly working on gradually improving my posture to uncompress the spinal discs, i believe there's a whole inch of height hidden in our posture, but it must be extracted very slowly and gently, not with tension. With these insoles, i think i can reach 5'10" to 5'11" very comfortably in time. I can live with that lol my dating apps currently say 5'10" if i have no choice but to specify, i bet im losing out on some hotties due to that lol GOAL: Financial Freedom

Just having fun with it bro and enjoying the process and life ![]() BEFORE INSOLE AFTER INSOLE the only negative i can think of is that when i step i do get a slight feeling like my heel will slip out of shoe, but tying shoelaces hard helps a lot with that, kind of like you mentioned in your post. I also don't plan to play sports in these shoes, don't wanna scuff them and stuff, i got athletic sneakers for that. As long as i can at least run and move around decent im happy with it. Just to add to this thread, when I say a 2" insole, I wear shoes that already give me 1 inch on their own and then add 1" insole, that is what has worked best for me.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
