Dude, take it from me, I'm only 6'4 and an extra one inch doesn't make any difference.
LOL, just kidding, but really an extra inch doesn't matter regardless of your height, you'd need AT LEAST 2 extra inches and that's when it starts getting uncomfortable, you also wouldn't be able to wear low tops or athletic shoes as your ankle would pop out of the shoe making it uncomfortable, weird, and prone to injuries.
That said, you should still try and see (though all insoles feel like heels), but you'll come to the conclusion that an extra inch is not worth the hassle.
"or is it better to wait for the inevitable 100,000$ height increasing knee growth plate stem cell injections? "
Is this for real?
I didn't buy them to increase height tho. I bought them so my feet wouldn't die while walking around approaching in the cheap boots I was wearing. Nice part is although the boots died I still use those insoles.
I've never tried stacking them tho. And although they say they're 1.5 inches, they compress when you're using them.
Thebastard wrote: How tall are you Luniac? I find most of the insoles you get in amazon work but to get rid of that 'heel' sensation you need to buy the shoes around the insoles not vice versa. In other words when you buy news shoes you should test them with the insoles first. Kind of hard to do now with shopping being what it is. But I know for a fact that I take size 11 with nike air maxes with the particular insoles I have so it makes it easier whenever I buy new trainers online (like last week actually).
i'm like 5'8" to 5'9" i think i have some spinal compression from years of working in a cubicle sitting on my ass.
i definitely have some chronic tightness issues with my back.
My kung fu practice involves a lot of long term posture improvement, so i think i can eventually hit a consistent 5'9" at least, maybe 5'10" if im lucky.
You're right about the shoe size working with the insoles, that occured ot me as well. I usually buy size 8.5, 9 at most. but probably with full length insoles id need a size 9.5.
i think the best i could do is buy a pair of insoles like the one RogerRoger linked and see how they fit in my current shoe, and then adjust from there.
Honestly my opinion regarding height is that if you're in the range between 5'8" - 5'10", and maybe even bit lower, then that's where youd get the most bang for your buck per inch because 5'10" is the global average.
You'd go from Below Average to Above Average at the 5'10" mark.
who knows how much of a difference it makes in practice, but if i can do it with nice comfortable insoles that make no noticeable difference to how my shoes feel, than i don't see a reason not to do it.
I know when i put boots on that make me like 2 inches taller at least, i feel a lot taller, like almost 6'0".
i bet walking around at 6'5" feels like you're among children lol

So far I have never been called out for lifts. That includes the times when the girl clearly height-mogged me when we were at my place bare-feet. We are too busy getting busy to notice or care. If you told my 20 year old self this he would have told you to GTFO
Girls are probably not going to call you out, you can get away with alot more shit with them than you realize especially if you don't care. If you don't care then plenty of the time they don't care either.
I am very short though and wear lifts.
2" is the max that is comfortable and practical. I've tried 3" and up to 5 to 6" lifts and they make you look like a idiot cause your body is still small and not in proportion to your new height. And they are insanely impractical especially 5 or 6 inch lifts. Put some on and try to walk around a mall or something for 2 hours and you'll see what I mean.
2" still makes a significant difference and is very comfortable and unnoticeable. I'll take 2 extra inches any day.
Height makes a huge difference. I used to wear 2 inch lifts and I'd sometimes pull chicks from the club that were 8's and 9's just by walking up to them when I would wear them. I remember one girl who was the hallmark rich daddys girl slut, the type who was always in the club with their "golden circle" social circle and I always wanted to bang. These girls would routinely rudely blow me off and then when I started wearing lifts it was like oh hey whats up? MIGHT be a bit anecdotal but who knows.. I still pull hot chicks without them.
Personally for me going from 5'10/5'11 to 6'0/6'1 was noticeable. I don't think its something girls do on purpose I just think the majority of girls around that 5'6-5'9 range aren't quite looking up at you from the most flattering angle when you're 5'10/5'11 then you go up two inches they're tilting their head back looking up at you and theres some reptilian shit going on there making her feel more submissive and her pussy gets wet.
Solid pair of boots (RM Williams if you can afford a pair) will do you just as well. The lifts definitely boosted my confidence early on when I was obsessed with things like height and shit which was another plus side. I don't feel like I need them any more but I'd be lying if I didn't say it makes a difference.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
