If you go from wearing shoes without insoles to boots with insoles will you still need pants with a longer inseam to go with it or will the boots make up for it? Does the way I phrased this even make sense?

Yes. You might be able to get by as is, if your trousers already have a bit of length (e.g. the back of the trousers touch the floor behind your heel). Temporarily unavailable as I need to focus on other areas of my life. Only focusing on no more than two goals at once. Best of luck to you guys.

I'm 5'7 and using 2" insoles. So to achieve 5'9 I have become useless. Forget running/dancing/fighting in these insoles. You have to learn how to walk on your toes, and that's not good for situations were you need balance on your heels/plantars I'm honestly going to give up on these, the aggravation and discomfort it too high for a negligible difference in height to me. Trump = Balls of Steel!!!

It's really not an issue once you get used to it (might take a week or two.) I wear boots and one layer of insoles, and when going out at night I put in another layer.
I'm 180cm naturally. +3cm boots, +3 base layer insoles, +2 extra layer = 188cm 5'11 to a little over 6'2. It matters a lot to me because 180 cm is te average height in my country, so the lifts take me to well above average and it really shows. I'm a big fan. |

I assume this is unnecessary if I'm already 6'2 5/8. But if other guys are boosting up to 6'3 with this trick... then maybe I should too lol.

I use them because I'm short. I am 5'9" barefoot so I wear tan boots plus the insoles with an additional wedge. I definitely get noticed more when I appear taller no questions about it. Huge fan of them right here.
At first it was a bit uncomfortable but after I broke in the leather in the boot sand got used to it, it was actually more comfortable to have them in as opposed to leaving them out. Lay Count: 21 [Taking Hiatus A From "The Game"]

So there's a bunch of people that use these over a long period.
What's the verdict? Obviously you need shoes that are high top to some degree. - Do you get inserts which are heel only or go all the way to the toes? - Is there a difference between soft and hard inserts? - How's your legs/knees after using them for so long? - Does it make a difference if the shoe is designed for it or not? obviously if you have inserts your foot will be in a different angle then the shoe was made for, does this make a difference? - How does it effect your movement? how long does it take to get used to it? Can't really afford to have to buy 3 or sets to find a good set right now so it'd be good for some clarity from people who have used them for a while Australia

I use the heel insoles only. I go from 5ft 7 to 5ft 9, maybe 5ft 9.5. Heel only insoles work great with high-top trainers. I wear it usually with my Timbalands or Air-Max sneakerboots. Very comfy. They took a bit to get used to, but now I can walk around them fine. For work, I just buy the shoes from Jago. They add 2.5" to my height, and are super comfortable. I can't seem to find a formal shoe I can use my insoles with??
The difference it makes...well it does make a big difference to your confidence, which I guess is an attractive quality. 5ft 9 may not be much, and in terms of white and black girls, I get the same reaction I used to get with being 5ft 7, that is, I still have to rely on social-status. But with Asian girls (Indian/Bengali/Oriental) it does seem to make a difference, and I'm happy about that, as that is the demographic I am after. 5ft 9 is decent height for them. The insoles are cheap, so you may as well try it out. |

I've tried hard ones before and don't like the pain it introduces after a long day. I used to stuff a sock on top of my foot to reduce creasing so i guess I have skinny feet vertically. I use Spenco Polysorb because they have arch support and actually make shoes more comfortable. I was using them while working on my feet for 8-10 hrs a day awhile ago amzn.to/2ebezMa Heel Only www.amazon.com/Half-Elevator-Insole-Men-...words=calden+insoles Jordan Gym Shoes - 2 Spencos (around 1.5 inch) Vans - 1 Spenco 1 Calden (around 1 inch) Boots - 2 spenco 2 Calden (around 2.5 inches) Buy a few sets and tweak til they feel weird so u max out every shoe optimally. I tried the gel and one with the red bubble in them and threw them out PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

Would you notice a difference between full in soles and heels only?
I don't really see the point of the full insoles when heels only do just fine for height. Do they give better stability and comfort? Australia

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
