Thanks JaK. That outfit is pretty good as well. I'd make a few minor tweaks to it though.
I'd wear mid-high waist jeans rather than low waist jeans. I'd remove the cuffs. And I'd add more height to the hair cut. This will make him look significantly taller. Both these pictures are the exact same size, but notice how much taller the guy on the right looks just from those three small changes. ![]() I'd also add in some accessories to sex it up a but. Most likely a leather necklace. |

OK guys, I have a few free days now so I will have a look at these recommendations you've presented me with.
To MD: Its funny because most people (esp. girls) whom I show that picture too say I look creepy like a child molester. But I've always liked it as I couldn't be mistaken for a nice guy. Cheers about the deadlift. If it weren't for working offshore I would have been striving for 600lbs eventually. Ethan, cheers for all that. Its funny because just looking at that it seems sort of generic to me - I don't really see the edginess but of course I know fuck all about style and edginess to begin with. What seems to be cool and edgy to one person seems to look like a nobody identity to another. I will go to the shops and see if I can best match your recommendation. By the way I can't see what that leather necklace looks like in that picture - could you post an amazon link to it or something? The shoes look identical to the ones I am wearing minus the laces and that mine are more pointy. The hat shouldn't be a problem. I am guessing LEVIs jeans are the most optimal for jeans? Incidentally, what sort of 'identity' is the style/model you have recommended? I'm guessing because you identify as a badboy dress sense wise that that is what it is loosely meant to resemble? To JaK. Thanks a lot mate! I actually really like that look even though based on what I've read and ascertained - such a simple, clean look would be suited to really tall and good looking men (i.e. not me). H and M, Bloomingdale's, Zara are the only stores out of the ones you mentioned here in UK and I have been to both quite a bit so it shouldn't be too unfamiliar. The idea of dark black clothing sounds good as it implies power and dominance. I am a bit wary of buying any black boots right now as I'd want ones that would subtly boost my height to 5'10 but I can still try them on and take pictures. I'm really digging the hairstyle on the right. It looks like the exact model to maximise my height. I would have to wait a long time to grow my hair and I am currently taking the regenepure hairloss shampoo GLL recommends as my hair is thinning. Too many squats and deadlifts came at a price... Thanks guys so much for your help and will be back soon with pics! Age 32 Cheeks clapped: 65+

Nice input from Ethan. My only comment is about the white t-shirt. Pale white guys (like me) can look really shitty in white. Better get the fake tan started if you're going to do the white T shirt. Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

Yeah I know what you mean. I am currently looking into fake tans.
OK so I went to the malls today and perused H & M, Zara, Topman, Burton, Tkmaxx and a couple of other small ones. It was busy and the customer service was appalling but I at least managed to get some pictures of the style Ethan recommended more or less at H and M. My hair is fucked because the wind was atrocious. ![]() ![]() They didn't have high sitting slim jeans - only medium which was annoying - also 32/32 rather than the 32/30 I usually go for. They make my thighs look MASSIVE. The other shops had very little appeal to me and couldn't find the selection of clothes for this particular look. Age 32 Cheeks clapped: 65+

I like the blazer. Watch out for the fit at the arms.
Dude! Black looks great on White people. Invest in some black v neck tees & cool accessories (Armani exchange has good necklaces) Kanye West once said " Lighter colors look better on darker people and Darker colors look better on lighter people" I agree. BoyToy style guide: http://www.boytoystory.com/style-guide/ This should help. Your sense of style is coming together. Dope. Just a Regular Mutherfucker

Good input MD. Idan, if you're super pale, get a tan. Ghosts don't get laid.
The wool cap and necklace are what really make that outfit. It takes it from a guy in a blazer, to a sexy guy. It's all about the accessories. Accessories are what make an outfit sexy. I wouldn't say that style is specifically a "badboy" stereotype, but it does have badboy elements to it. I don't really know what to call this style, but I know for a fact that girls find it sexy. Colin Farrell does the wool cap thing pretty well, as do a couple other celebrities. The wool cap gives off a "too cool for school" attitude. It's so dressed down, that wearing it with something nice is a fashion statement. Almost like wearing a tuxedo with a giant mountain man beard. It's so "don't give a fuck" that it's cool. ![]() Trust me, girls love it, and it's very in style right now. You don't need to get that exact necklace that I showed. I was just giving you an example of a long leather necklace. |

Good stuff, not sure about the lapels on that blazer, but other wise good shit man!
Also, I don't know how you feel about rings, but adding maybe a sterling silver thumb ring (band) and another ring on index finger of the other hand bring some serious edge to that type of casual laid back style, it brings edge thru it's artistic value. Plus girl love that shit! Infact I'm pretty sure I've seen interviews were Colin ferrel does the same! Lastly, I think you'd look a little manlier (not to say you look like a girl, just more masculine) if you had some what more of a stubble 5 o'clock shadow type of facial grooming. Hope this helps! |

I agree. The lapels are too shiny on the jacket. Give a necklace and some silver rings a try along with the wool cap. Those would look pretty cool. I suggested facial hair as well, but he said he doesn't have the genes for it. |

Hey guys.
That black jacket was really cheap. Problem is my arms are shorter than average which means even if the item fits my body, it nearly always reaches my fingers in the arms. I actually came across that boytoystory site before. I could try modelling the all black style at a store and post pictures. I've read GLL's accessory articles and am thinking of ordering a few gizmos. I might try out a few rings BigJekyll. In the slight chance I get a date of POF this week, I'll certainly add some cool accessories to my new developing style. It is an interesting idea - contrasting the whole dress down combined with dress up pieces - like the cool blazer with the generic jeans. What of the jeans? The slim fitting ones just make my thighs look gigantic with skinny calves. The grey 508 ones I got from Levi Strauss were sold to me after nearly an HOUR of trying different pairs on to get round this problem. Are there any particular brands that sit high and might get round this problem? I have been looking at some height increasing shoes (I would need a 2 inch boost to hit 5'10) on these websites and wonder if any of these would be cool/stylish? UK sites as that is where I live. http://www.bertulli-shoes.co.uk/?gclid=CO3CnviLuLsCFS3JtAodUx0AHQ# http://secretshoes.co.uk/ By the way what do you call that tall haircut so i can search for it and provide details to a skilled hair stylist when my hair finally grows back? Does anyone here actually use bronzer? Which exact brand? I was talking about it with my sister who strongly recommended against using it as it would look obviously fake. I have tons of questions so I do apologise; however I am putting maximum effort into making my free time count and to tick off the style problem before I charge into this AA program stuff. Hey Idan, If your arms are to short, get your stuff fitted or go get it hemmed! Don't get slim fit, your not built for it, I would go for the 501's if I where you! But yes, deff get some nice rings and chain, nothing flashy, more on the artistic side, because your right the whole dress up, laid back, contrast is a good thing and women find it attractive! |

Thanks BigJekyll for your feedback. It looks like I'll have no choice but to get the old sewing machine out..
OK today I went to a different topshop to try on some more clothes tailored to what you guys have suggested so far. It was pretty stressful as it was so busy and I got so dehydrated but I totally lost it when my protein shake exploded inside my bag soiling my jeans. I called it a day by that point managing to stop myself getting into a fight! I took tons of shots but I uploaded the ones I deemed to have the greatest significance. I tried to style my hair but the evil winds ruined it again. I shaved the top part of my beard as suggested and trimmed it at the bottom. ![]() Small white wide v neck tee - you can see my nipples so I would be right in assuming it is too small... ![]() Medium shirt - should be the best fitting ![]() The grey levis I normally wear - how would you say they fit? ![]() From the side ![]() The topman jeans that I tried on - vintage slim as opposed to straight. ![]() A black blazer I would say is better than the previous one - with a black beanie (I don't actually think this particular one is a beanie) with grey stripe. Black converse leather shoes. ![]() Experimenting with medium black tee - not the wide v-neck but just for an idea. ![]() Added a gray slim fit blazer. So please tell me what you make of all this. As far as accessories go, I guess the best thing to do would be to order them online and bring them to the shop to model. Age 32 Cheeks clapped: 65+

Hey guys, I hope you will be able to give me some feedback soon on my last wee photoshoot.
I spent all morning phoning every shoe shop in my city for elevated shoes or height boosting insoles. Not one of them did. You'd think there would be a great demand for this sort of thing. So I decided to buy some insoles from amazon. I have decided to invest in a good, stylish pair of boots for casual wear which I intend for it to go with most of my outfits. It must be height increasing of course. Here are some of the ones I was looking at: https://www.bugarrishoes.com/?shoeID=EH_CON_0675&offset=1&page=collectionDet https://www.bugarrishoes.com/?shoeID=EH_CON_0675&offset=1&page=collectionDet http://www.bertulli-shoes.co.uk/luxury/342-bottine-rieti-noir-7-cm.html Would any of these strike you as suitably fashionable. These are the only boots I can find designed for height increasing. If not then I would have to use insoles although I'd rather not in the interest of comfort. I tried to find ones similar to the ones Chris displayed in his style article - the fyre one for instance. Age 32 Cheeks clapped: 65+

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
