Can't go wrong with a leather jacket, but for your budget you might need to look for discounts or in a thrift shop + it's an amazing investment, will last you a lifetime if you buy good style + fit and take care of it properly
if you buy good quality leather (not faux leather!), it's warm in winter and it always looks cool (you can wear it basically the whole year... even indoors, in clubs, bars... for outside just add a long thick scarf in winter, I wear it as a drape)
and it's easy to match with the rest of clothes. good, matching colour leather shoes + some nice pants + even ideally black leather gloves (as I have, from Esprit) and a nice watch (I wear it with Orient Sun & Moon in rose gold)
I have a black Gipsy leather jacket and I wear it with a scarf from Mango. I feel dressed so cool I could be driving a Lamborghini and I wouldn't look out of place
and an added benefit, which I found makes it much better than let's say a warm coat, is that you can also wear sunglasses and don't look like a pervert. a coat makes me look too "hidden". even worse if I wear a cap. but with the leather jacket, no problem... still looks sexy
just don't make the same mistake as me with my first leather jacket and buy one that doesn't fit you. or better said, one that won't fit you in 1 year... I started working out and lost a few kilos + leather naturally stretches a bit as you wear it ... after a few months looked like it's one full size bigger. safe to say I hadn't worn it since. better a bit tighter, it will stretch (but make sure your sleeves are long enough - I had to specifically buy a slim fit with longer sleeves - not just normal slim fit)
edit: for inspiration, this is the one I have in black:

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
