So its happening. I am going to get a golden eagle tattoo on my shoulder. Potentially with wings extending into my chest and legs or a flag of scotland extending down the upper arm.
Today I saw a highly respected tattoo artist. Didn't committ to anything but he did use his awesome photo software to conjure up an image (using a google images image) showing roughly what we can expect it to look like.
I think it looks kind of huge and perhaps too much black in the background? Artist said not to worry about that as it was just a very quick idea as he was busy with clients. But I like how where the eagle is looking.
So yeah I will visit more artists and see what schematics they might have to offer. Mostly I use google maps to find images.
I still need to earn the tattoo (I talk about in my thread so no need to talk about that here) but assuming I make a committment/deposit to a top tier artist, we are looking at Jan/Feb 2020.
Any and all feedback would be very much appreciated brothers, especially the ones who have tattoos.
I'm not big on colour personally (my end goal is 10 tattoos and they will all be black - currently on 4) but given that you have placed such importance in the golden eagle and that's the inspiration for your journey maybe some colour for your design would work
Definitely find an artist that is good with colour and consult them about it. It's clear you are going to visit a few artists so look up on instagram what styles they specialise in before you see them. Pretty easy to do as most tattoo parlours have Instagram accounts and can direct you to their artist's accounts

Stick to cut and gym schedule

I have a few queries: not sure if anyone can draw on their own personal experiences with regard to each?
1) Once you have a tattoo, is tanning then out of the question? If I want to tan more (with MT2) is that something I should get done BEFORE the tattoo?? Or once the tattoo has fully healed, is it ok to tan as usual without any meaningful damage to the tattoo?
2) How bad is the pain? I mean this more in terms of endurance. If I get a shoulder plus half the chest plus a sleeve - is it better to do it in multiple sessions as opposed to one big one?
3) If I gain more muscle in the arms, chest and shoulders will it make the tattoo look worse? I mean stretched out more over your skin?

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
