"I doubt myself a lot, thinking I'll never truly get there."
Doesn't have to hold you back. It hasn't held me back. Just focus on making small improvements every day - build an easy-to-keep-up habit (eg go to the gym for 15 minutes, 3 times a week, or talk to 1 girl a day, or buy 1 new outfit a month, etc). Over time those tiny successes will snowball. Andy / 32yo / Australia

The gym and diet are the two things you can count on to make you better looking but it takes time. Clothes can make you look better too but they're only going to do so much. This is what guys do as soon as they join the forum. - They get a haircut - They get new clothes Then they get frustrated cause the two easiest things they could've done, didn't bring them any closer to getting girls. Your main priority right now should be getting in shape and building muscle, not finding discount clothes. Yea you can fuck around and try new shit on but half this shit isn't going to fit if you start taking your body seriously. Half this shit won't even look good cause you'll adapt a new wardrobe that matches your new physique. The way I dressed when I was small was completely different than the way I dress now. All my clothes don't fit anymore either. Used to wear small or medium and now I wear large and sometimes XL. I really wouldn't worry too much about clothes right now. The time it took you to go to the store and take pictures is the same time you could've fit in a gym session. It's the same time you could've eaten an extra 1000 calories. It's the same time you could've prepped your week with meals. Instead you're stuck with a bunch of clothes that no one approved of anyway. (not to make you feel bad) You're going in the right direction but you gotta either start really going ham on the BW exercises or take that money you could be spending on clothes and get a cheap ass gym membership and start going. 4 - 2016 and before

I read your story about doubt and it gave me a much better perspective on things. Especially the confidence part. After reading, I told myself out loud, that "confidence is just a feeling and it doesn't guarantee success." Sure it's great to have and CAN help but even the most confident people out there still fail. And some (or a lot) who aren't very confident can have even greater achievements. It's great to see that things aren't so black and white.

This all makes perfect sense. You're right, if I get bulkier, the clothes I bought (referring to size more than the design they have) are going to be temporary and in the end, completely pointless.

I've always said that there's no such thing as an ugly person. Just someone that's given up and has stopped caring.
We're all beautiful and all it takes is some effort. You got this bruhhhh 4 - 2016 and before

You need SLIM FIT. H&M slim fit v necks and polos are cheap and solid.
You are swimming in fabric at the waist. You want your body to be a V where the bottom of the T is tapered to your waist and ending right around your belt. If the slim fits end above your jeans then you need TALL tees. I've given this advice over and over: Get advice from a hot fashionable chick in person. If you aren't dating one, ask someone who is shopping or working there what looks better. Not only is it insight from who matters, but it's good for AA when you ask for a number after. PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

There's this music video with a white dude in it and the chorus says something like "blah blah for a white guy", you kinda look like that guy, which is not good because it was about a try hard dude, damn I don't know the name of the song.
Anyway, I'd say all those necklaces are good looking (in my opinion anyway), but none looks good on you, it's look odd to be wearing a necklace when the sleeves on your t-shirt don't fit you properly.

Yeah I've been doing weights for a bit, almost every day. But I want to learn about more exercises regarding weight lifting so I can develop in other areas (back, legs, etc). I'm working on eating better too and I've noticed an improvement in how I feel in general. |

That's good to know. I don't wanna be that guy. The shirts I'm wearing are Hane's Slim Fit Comfort Blend shirts I bought at Target. I went for the medium size to start, but those almost felt like a death grip around my torso, practically no breathing room, but the sleeves hugged my arms. The one in the pictures is the large. I need a different brand of shirts since the medium is too tight and the large isn't tight enough. |

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
Kratom is next!
