In my opinion, jeans should be as skinny as your balls can handle (what you are using now are not skinny enough)
Edit: Skinny jeans should look as skinny as possible, they should convey the underlying form of your legs but at the sane time they shouldn't look like leggings. They should wrap around your legs in a certain way so there are visible folds. And yeah, the shirt is too baggy, but that has already been addressed. I wouldn't worry about looking gay... First you have to look good, then you can add edginess

Hey guys,
I went to H&M a little while ago to try some stuff on. The shirts/tanktops/shorts were a mix of medium and small sizes. I never thought a wearing a small was even possible for me, but I have to say, it was quite comfortable. The gray jeans are mine just fyi. I will make a 2nd thread for this with the remaining photos. |

In my opinion you look too small (not enough muscle) to pull off tank tops. I'm in the same position, so don't stress. (Are you hitting the gym?)

All I see are basic t-shirts
...Which would work if you were jacked, had tats, etc. Otherwise... you're just some dude wearing oversized t-shirts The reason "bad boy" or "player" or "edgy" style is encouraged is because 1) If you look like the above, you will likely get laid faster (since "bad boys" are more likely to get laid on the first date, vs. some "nice guy" who the girl makes wait) 2) Most guys who find this stuff are nerds, nice guys, etc. so it's better for them to lean towards "edgy", even to the point of overcompensation. Until they find a happy medium for themselves Tbh. I would return everything and read the stuff on GLL (a bit dated at this point) Or this Or the stuff written by Dude75 here. He is easily one of the "coolest" guys on here, is on top of the latest fashion trends (you don't have to be as stylish as him tho to get pussy), and actually fucks hot girls. You have height which is a blessing.
Your clothing choices aren't good. Good new is, basic fashion can be taught. (Simple rules that you can follow) Style, can't be taught... But, style can be learned. (Current style trends, colors, patterns, important designers/brands) You're on your own on Style. You just gotta learn it on your own by trying to copy stylish people and eventually you will develop your sense of style. Work on your basic fashion and then throw stylish pieces into the mix. That's good to know. I really like those jeans too. I have only been using my parents home gym. But I haven't signed up for a gym because of commitment issues. I fluctuate A LOT between wanting to improve myself (physically and so on) and not caring. I think there's a deeper issue with me. Maybe it's because I haven't seen it through 100%. I doubt myself a lot, thinking I'll never truly get there. |

Thanks man. Unfortunately the return policy for the store I went to (not H&M) states that the clothes can't be worn or altered (I wore them and washed them already), must have the receipt (which I still have), and also have to have the tags attached, which I already clipped off. I don't know if I'll have much recourse with that. Worst case, I'll just wear those shirts when nobody's around hahaha |

I never had a gym membership before. I use my parents home gym. I've been lifting a bit more recently (pressing more than anything) and I lift as much as I can tolerate (it's heavy enough for me). And I don't know if I've ever ate 500 calories above anything (daily value and the like). Honestly, I don't think I even eat 2000 calories a day. I need to start a food log. |
