Tried a new outfit, would appreciate input from Wood or anyone else
Weather is going from summer to fall here in Australia so I need to wear a jacket sometimes in the evenings
Can't wear my heavy winter jackets because not cold enough
I remembered I had this overcoat that I wear more formally. usually over a suit. I've gotten a ton of complements on it but only when wearing it over business attire.
It's actually quite light and not insulating at all so performance wise it's ideal for fall/spring.
wore it with a long sleeved Henley tee and denims.
I don't think it looks bad but I might be completely missing the mark so thought I'd ask.
btw I'm not trying to look edgy or anything. Just trying to look more professional when I go out I guess.
I do have a leather jacket that also works in this weather but i think it makes me look too young/edgy (I posted it 1st page of this thread). almost getting tired of people asking me if I'm in college (I'm 34 lol). So helps if it makes me look older/professional.
Might look into a light bomber jacket since they are cheap.. But again i think they make me look like a kid.
ps. sorry for the bad pics.. lighting in my room is pretty terrible and never using a DSLR doesn't really help. Jacket is dark navy.
Other Random Thoughts
I'm down to 70kg (154lb) right now. Legit 29in waist.. Meaning those pants i posted on page 1 (31in waist slim fit chinos) don't even fit anymore.. feels bad man lol
So I go around looking for belts that fit.. Hit up so many stores in the last 2+ months and almost no one has 30in belts.. I needed a more formal belt asap for a new suit I got tailored. (I'll be taking some professional pics with a photog over the weekend I'll share some here)
I go into this somewhat mid-high end store and take a look at their belts. They are $70+ so I wasn't going to buy from them.. But I mentionn to the sales-brah how belts are too big for me after weight-loss and the guy shows me how you can remove the belt buckle, cut the belt to size and re-attach it.. literally takes 2mins (felt like an idiot for not even considering this method).. Mind = Blown how none of the sales people told me this (it would have been a guaranteed sale) in all the stores I've been at.
This guy saved me a bunch of money without me even making a sale..
So even though I thought the belts were too expensive I bought from them just out of principle..

Yeah, and it's not working. Which is why I'm giving him constructive advice. Thanks to people like you he'll ignore and continue buying shitty clothes that won't do anything to help cover his demonic visage.
But yeah, we get it, you're an ex-con dope dealer who is offended when people aren't politically correct. You hate people who call the scum of the earth the scum of the earth lol.
What a completely unconstructive comment. Banned (all his other posts are equally useless). Hopefully one day he learns how to play well with others.
@Delts: dig the last outfit you posted, not sure about the jacket though. Wait for other guys' advice though, I'm not the fashion expert.
Had a new suit tailored and had a photo-shoot on Sunday to take a professional profile pictures for LinkedIn.
After that just took some pics for fun.. Didn't have much time left so probably not the best.
(obviously none of these are the actual profile pics.. in spite of what most of you guys think I'm not autistic enough to wear sunglasses and pose for those lol)
Shirt isn't tailored and just off the rack, since I intended to just wear it with a jacket but I think it looks decent with the sleeves rolled up..
Decided to re-create the Rowan Row pic I posted on page 1 for teh lulzz..
photographer got more obsessed with the car imo lmao..
@Andy what do you think of the pics? I have about 40 from the shoot so I just posted a couple. Not edited apart from me adjusting the composition.. well apart from this one where the guy did some shit to it lol
Never felt quite right wearing a shirt without a jacket but after this I'm considering getting some shirts tailored.
oh yeah and realized my skin looks like shit on the high res pics..
I don't really notice it in the mirror, most probably because my bathroom have terrible lighting.
pigmentation and slight acne scaring.. strange because i don't really have acne. Probably have to dowith the weight loss. I'll look have into seeing a dermatologist and getting laser skin resurfacing or something in the long-term..
Maybe a bit late to the party on this, but if you're considering getting a Rolex, get one which is going to appreciate in value. Rolex's are one of the few watches which increase in price as they age, but not all of them do. Do some research. I'd recommend the Explorer II. It's a good starter Rolex which is expected to maintain or appreciate in value.
I can also recommend the Dapper Hide wallet if you want to avoid big bulky wallets. I've had one for 3 years and it's still in good condition. EXTREMELY slim, but carries all the cards and cash I need it to. I have the card holder version. Currently carrying 6 cards (IDs, Credit, etc) plus room for cash. Check it out at
Also, if you're concerned about hyper-pigmentation you could try out a soap with kojic acid. Kojic acid is used to slightly lighten and even out dark skin.

Thanks..You can't really see from the pics how bad my skin is.. I didn't know myself because usually in a mirror under bad lighting or in a phone selfie you don't see it. even in the pics I posted at low-res can't really tell.. But when you get the full raw image from a DSLR u can see how absolutely fucked right now lol
Forgot to mention it but I've had mild psoriasis on my face for the last few years.. or at least that's what I think it is. I've seen what really bad psoriasis looks like, its terrible (
- warning: its gross). So I was glad mine is so minor.. I've kept it under control by daily moisturizing and being diligent with shaving everyday but over the years i think it's left scaring and pigmentation, which became more visible after fat loss (skin got more stretched out).
I'm also genetically prone to pigmentation as well.. Every time i get cut it leaves pretty significant discoloration.. like my forearms, top of my hands and feet are full of tiny scratch scars from the jiu jitsu.. I don't mind those though.
So i think it best to actually go and get it checked out.. It might not even BE psoriasis for all I know.
But i've seen amazing results with laser skin re-surfacing treatments. I mean night and day difference after a few weeks. pretty incredible.
My only concern is my skin tone is too dark for the laser. I even inquired from a skin clinic a few months ago about another scar (not on my face) and they said it won't work for me.. But then I've seen it used in India and even in Africa and they were just receptionists not doctors or even nurses.. I'd rather see what a real doctor would have to say about it.
I'm pretty much set on getting an Omega Speedmaster Professional. A Rolex is right now out of my price range and I don't know how I'd feel wearing a $15K+ watch on me everyday.. The speedmaster is going to be my daily watch. It's quite versatile on a nato strap system that you can swap out straps easily.
yeah its still a bit expensive (around 5K AUD here) but I wouldn't feel weird going into the office or a work site wearing it. Most people I reckon won't even know what an Omega is worth.. But they'll recognize a Rolex.
btw I went into the omega store to take a look at it few weeks ago, even though I'm def going to buy it used (its AU$6600 brand new, might as well save 1.6K and save myself the depreciation). I expected to deal with some snobby salesman but the guy who served me was quite cool even when I admitted I was looking to buy used (i.e. not from them).
Also its 100% manual. Not quartz or automatic. Manual winding, and I'm somehow drawn to that fact..
Plus its the stereotypical engineers watching lmao (because it went to the moon and they keep marketing it as the 'moonwatch' though i don't really care).
So yeah the speedy is going to be my first real watch. (apart from my Seiko diver). after that I might get an Oris Diver.. And down the line a Rolex maybe just to wear to events and stuff..
But I gotta say when it comes to luxury watches Rolex has the name brand by far. Only watch brand most of my friends know is Rolex. its kinda sad since Rolex isn't even the most top-tier of watches, comparing to Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, etc..
lol that reminds me one of my friends wore his Patek to high-school once (which his dad had given him but forbidden him to wear to school) because we dared him, then we pretended like we were gonna mug him.. lmao.. good times.
^ This one is my favourite, because it's the one that looks the most "spontaneous". Your facial expression, your pose, your foot half in the air, all of it gives off a vibe of "I'm just doing my thing and someone randomly snapped a pic of me". Wish your right foot wasn't half-cut off though.
Suit looks good in the other pics.
Rolex would look sick but I agree with you - I don't like the idea of having something worth that much sitting on my wrist. If I was insanely rich (millionaire) then sure.
Re: your Speedmaster, is there any point spending $5000 if nobody knows you spent $5k on it? If you're buying it as an investment (something you plan to keep for decades) then I get it. My dad's had his watch (it's an expensive dive watch) for about 35 years now.

I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
