Do you guys still wear necklaces when you hit on chicks?

Seems like dog tags and chains are for the socially retarded.

All the high end stores are shifting towards minimalist, long "pendants", like the attached.

You guys have any edgy recommendations? These could work but they aren't really my vibe.

These days it depends.
I like necklaces in the kind you're showing, simple and sleek, they can go with all kind of outfit.
While I liked dog tags, I've never been keen on taking some, always thought it was better reserved for the military (bit retarded I know)
And big chains are definitely hard to wear, if you're not a bit gangsta or really cool.

Edgy is more of a vibe then a way of dressing, you could take the same outfit on two guys and they'd be givin' a different vibe.
And that style can be simple as fuck, a couple of boots, nice cutted jean and a tank top, and voila.
But if you're scrawny skinny, it'll be hard to pull off, know what I mean?

People will always find the jacked dude a bit edgy, no matter the fuck is wearing, same as the one wearing cool tattoos.
Almost anything will have an edgy vibe on them, even if it simple as shit.
Anyway, what the store selling the necklace on the left? It looks cool.

lately my essential accessories are:

moissanite earrings (brighter than diamond)
classy watch
bracelets (vitaly leather, tigers eye, jade etc)

physique and slim fitting clothes trumps ALL sprinkles on top. thinking you are going to pull chicks with a nice watch, but got beer gut is like putting a spoiler on a stock civic for street racing

2018: the chain/necklace thing is reserved for more wild events like sports games, concerts, dance clubs. i feel like they can easily put you over the top in PERCEIVED EFFORT. the key is to be effortlessly stylish

I wear dog tags, but I don't like big chains either. Mostly to the "wild" events Wood mentioned. I'm less concerned about looking try hard though. I'm not gonna hit the "tries just hard enough" target exactly, and I'd much rather err on the side of "try hard" than "blends in/invisible". Also I have kind of a "cute" look and I need to balance it with edge.

I'm starting to experiment with other kinds of necklaces.

Do you wear bracelets on the same wrist as your watch? Or have something on both wrists? What about rings how do you feel about them? I'm trying to edge it up with accessories. Got earrings and watch but nothing else. Looking for recommendations. Probably gonna get 1 thin chain, ring and a bracelet.

It's just a Jade stone, girls usually complement it.
