I'll try to post some things that are more visionary (before the industry catches on). Here is some Spring stuff I was looking at in January with one of my FBs
Adidas Stan Smith Keep em clean. White shoes are a easy way to add pop to your outfit with dark pants. Works with shorts too. Another one I copped in January and now they are immensely popular selling out. I can fit 1 inch of spenco insoles in them which is decent for a LOW shoe. Suede kicks are very IN, but I won't bother with them because they are hard AF to clean. I'm bringing all the yellow, orange and mint tees out of my storage for the spring. I'm tan AF from Melanotan so the yellow tees look great. Don't wear bright yellow or orange if you are pale, it makes you look even more pale. At this point, I'm over it because everyone has one of these, but this is the top trend right now. I was trying this gap one on in January, but the fit was too baggy. Light denim is super in. I may just get some new light denim slims. Make sure the wash is nice and isn't too dark. It should be mostly gray, but a little indigo on the creases like in photo. Shelf life for a jacket is only 1 month tops so go with a denim shirt instead. www.asos.com/asos/asos-skinny-denim-shir...idrow=6&gridcolumn=1 Say no to face tats, and roll the sleeves up to just below elbows especially if DC7's Iron Bull grip recommendation has your forearms at their peak ![]() PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

Good stuff brother, I'm a huge fan of your posts!
I recently copped a pair of Reebok NPC II's that I plan on wearing with slim fit black stretch jeans, etc typical Magic Fox stuff. The pants are a bit on the long side so I figured I would get them tailored, hemmed, what have you but I'm always confused about how low I should get them cut. The European style seems to be ankle high so the entire shoe is exposed. Or should I just cuff them? |

Great thread brother!
I've really been eyeing the white Air Max 90 lately. I just might go ahead and splurge the cash and make them my go-to shoes for casual day wear for the spring/summer this year. I'll basically be rocking built-in flex max slim black jeans from Old Navy (This is like wearing jogging pants, ridiculously comfortable) paired with a scoop neck or V-neck muscle fit tee from Asos (Will be alternating between black and white tee's).

Nice, Ya I have to get some nice shoes like the Adidas Stan Smith shoes. My casual/non-dressy shoes are lame.
I find my style is too "white-guy" some days. I used to wear beanies and shit, but after seeing so many lame white guys wearing them, I decided not to rock them anymore. |

Ya it's crazy, I had pretty much banned sneakers from my wardrobe except for sporting activities, figured they were too "hipster" or teenager-ish. But seeing the causal kick-ass looks the Europeans are rocking has turned me into a believer. |

Here's a question.
Do you think it's better to have a style that you like (is dope of course) vs one that is "on trend"? Like, if you prefer rocking beanies and you just drip with swag goo then why does it matter if lames are rocking it?

I think there's a balance between rocking style that is unique to your identity, and also people's perception of your style.
Sometimes not giving a fuck looks cool, but it has to be in a way that shows you're somewhat in tune with current fashion.

Yeah I've been eyeing the all white 90's for awhile now. My stylist FB said she prefers adidas, but I feel like they may be a bit trendy which i don't like. The all white shoes give that pop and all air max give a solid height boost over regular kicks. Yeah asos muscle v necks are legit. I'd buy more but they sell out. People always comment on my gains when I wear them @slick Lollll "swag goo" I'm less trendy unless it's early on. I get pissed when something I wear catches on and everybody starts wearing it. Having fitting clothes is first priority. The same shirt up two sizes doesn't have the same effect. Like ETA you gotta make it your own. Being able to see past the surface and see why certain things work and using that "why" to make your own style is key Yeah I'd say be aware of the trend, but don't follow the blueprint. I try to predict the direction and beat people to it. Looking good while showing minimal effort applies to ALOT of shit. Performing music, tinder pics, modeling, fashion, art. Effortless excellence PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

Just bought a second one of these shirts. Became one of my fav shirts. Tried on in person with my gf and it's the first EXTRA SMALL that i've ever bought lol. It's not slim fit so the XS hugs the muscles solid. Looks even better in person
www.express.com/clothing/men/waffle-text...05737067/color/CHALK I'm cheap so I got 40% off via express sale and got a $50 gift card for $42 off RAISE.com Raise.com $5 off Promo Code : MWOOD3036 You can instantly get discounted gift cards for online stores that are resold gifts and shit. The $5, $8 savings add up. Saved an extra $15 on footlocker.com for air maxes too Classic everyday shoe. Air maxes are already around a half an inch higher than most shoes so adding insoles is easier to get a height boost on these. Going from 5'9" to 5'11" is crucial PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

for kicks i just use dawn and only wear all whites on special occasions and dry city wear. i'm not going to go the woods in them or walk through rain puddles thinking dish soap will get them back. all black shoes have a 20x shelf life, but that's also why everyone wears them curveball for dumbells especially curls amzn.to/2oKM7sI little shit like reversing the grip on curls and tricep pushdowns are good tool. rock climbing is underated PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

Having good style is alot more than a brand name. I will wear some $3 forever 21 shit and look better in it than some $400 Balmain shirt to the average woman if the fit is better.
It blew my mind when my girl told me I had a long torso so wearing shorter shirts make my legs look longer. I just knew that certain shirts fit better than others, but having a tall shirt because I had a long torso was making me look shorter. Waist-- If i'm swimming in fabric around the waist it is a no go. Tapered, slim fit, athletic, muscle fit get me so much more looks than if I wore a standard boxy shirt. Sometimes I have to put on a small just to get the waist down where I want (I'm 5'9" 170lbs Shoulders-this is more of an issue with button ups with stitched fabrics. Shirt Length-I like mine right at the belt if possible for t shirts. button ups hang a little more. stuff like longline t shirts are trendy (i think they died last year) don't look as good on short guys because it makes their legs look shorter Sleeve Length-When you're athletic you want to show some tricep/bicep. You can roll up the sleeves if they are long, but the roll up is more "perceived effort" i prefer a one fold if necessary. Any more than one, it's more obvious and more perceived effort to show off the guns. A good v neck will be end in the middle of your upper arm. This shit is hard to grasp for guys who don't give AF and that's why I've given the advice to bring a girl with you when you shop. PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
