Hi
I had a bad accident a few months ago. I now have a bad scar over my right eye. Does this type of Scar affect me enough to warrant surgery in your opinion. eg. If it was you would you do it?! I have attached a picture of it outside. Accident was 7 months ago, yet it is still quite distinctive Id appreciate some honest feedback, its difficult for me to get that off friends or family. their telling me what I want to here. So please be honest. |

Nah, I'd let it rock.
I'd continue to take care of it with Mederma or Vitamin E or whatever other shit can help to lighten the scar, but it's not going to have a negative effect on how people perceive you / dating, etc. If anything it could work in your favor since scars tend to be one of those features like rough hands or tattoos that add a masculine appeal. Yeah I'd just leave it be also. Just make it work in your favor and treat it as an accessory that adds edge. Girls will ask about it and you can either tell the truth or tell a cool story about it, depending on your intentions.

Agree with others. Scar looks awesome. It def adds to your "edgy" appearance. Also it's been only 7 months so it may continue to fade over time or you can just obscure it from view. Remember, any surgery is risky and is not magic; it may yield a result you're not looking for or you may just end up replacing one scar with another.
Good looking people have this thing where they obsess over their looks like in that book "Picture of Dorian Gray.." They ignore how attractive they are overall to fixate on every new wrinkle or blemish not realizing that people on the outside only see how attractive they are overall and barely/don't notice small imperfections. Kinda like bodybuilders. But you're plenty good looking already and you just don't need to fixate over a scar which, if anything, makes you look more masculine & edgy. Also, psychologically, lots of people who get plastic surgery end up fixating on what they had done and minor imperfections become unhealthy obsessions. This explains those 10/10 celebrities who can't stop going under the knife even after they've stopped resembling human beings. But if you notice, guys with large birthmarks on their bodies (spots etc), are almost never insecure about them when shirtless at the beach because they go through their formative years mostly covered up and never really develop a mind to fixate upon it. If you're overweight however, lots of people fixate on that and so overweight people tend to be insecure when shirtless. This, I suspect is what'll happen to you. You'll realize that people will barely ever even mention the scar or even really notice and that you're still getting hot girls to squirt all over you regardless, and eventually you won't even notice it yourself when you look in the mirror. Not necessarily so with surgery. If you must have surgery, at least wait a few years.

Thanks for the feedback. It helped me have some perspective on it. I have mostly felt ok about but like their are moments of weakness. Tbh Iv been looking on here for over a year. So like Im always looking to improve in all aspects but yeah I dont think surgery is enough of a benefit to go through

Yeah mederma and bio oil (vitamin e) oil is an easy thing to put on at night to reduce the scar. Plus dermarolling with vitamin c and hyaluronic acid is the most cost effective way to reduce scarring (once a week)
PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

No, I don't think so that for facial scar one must go with the surgery as it is very expensive. Try applying proper skin care products to remove scar according to the skin type. One can
try this out
to reduce facial scar and to keep skin healthy.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
