I just bought some white jeans recently, but I have mixed feelings. I might return them. Here's me wearing them.

If you have mixed feelings already at this stage, you're most likely not gonna wear them anymore in a few days. Plus, good luck keeping them clean. Imo, they're not edgy on you in that particular pic. It's probably buyers remorse.

Then again, I'm the guy that also wears floral shirts.

I go for stuff like that. I've been in the fashion game for a while and have learned how to work things like that.

Most guys can't pull it off. Some guys can.

Any time you have something unorthodox (although white jeans aren't that unorthodox), the cut becomes even more relevant. Yours look fine.

Advice: Build around it. White jeans can be done.

White jeans are hardcore. It takes a lot to pull them off, but they look good when they do. Gotta have the balls to work that fashion. Be cool. Carry on!

(Note: Change the watch to a white one and the shoes to white as well and retry. Otherwise, brown belt, brown leather shoes with sharp tip, brown wrist band or watch, black t-shirt, white jeans. Imo this is elite.)

Blue shirts like this REALLY work with white blue jeans. Go to Levis and try one out.

I think the dress shoes are essential. Notice the type isn't rounded at the tip. You need pointed to look good with this. Boat shoes are also okay. They have to be cool. They'd suit the type of white jeans where you can see a guy's ankles. Not sure what that's called. You could have the jeans adjusted.

White jeans worked well for me, just make sure to pair them with a darker top (navy is great).

I hope you got some oxy-clean though... Also, if you're at school or work, you might want to have a clean second pair in your bag/locker whatever, because they get dirty faster than a hoe at the club, and if you get a big stain on them you don't want to look retarded all day long.

With vanilla, neutral to light tan trousers, wear brown shoes-belt-leather accessories.

With white trousers, wear black shoes-belt-leather accessories.

As for non leather shoes (e.g. casual, canvas sneakers), match the trousers or match the top. Not too much of a big deal on this one.

With white trousers, up top you'll want dark colors. Think navy blue, black.

With vanilla-tan trousers, go with shades of brown for tops. Also light(er) blue.

A lot of guys make the mistake of confusing white with vanilla-light tan. There's a subtle difference and the above actually does make a difference.

In general, don't match the trousers to the top as you want the light/dark contrast.

Always keep in mind that this is casual wear, and the "rules" are really just guidelines. Have fun.

Haha thanks guys! They will be hard to keep clean but consider the other side... if I jerk off in them no one could tell. :lol:

I've decided to keep them (just need to tailor the length now). One of the reasons I started doubting them is one of my housemates made a comment like, "you know when you see a guy in white denim and you can't tell if it's a girl?" But he wears nothing but jeans and black t-shirts, so I'm not surprised he said that.

Definitely yes to dark tops. I think the white jeans and black/navy t shirt is a good combo.
