Im Ethiopian (with light brown skin) but I live in a place where the sun is out alot so I can burn to the point of really dark skin (not that there is anything wrong with that). So I have tan lines. I find that using spf 50 plus keeps my skin lighter than without it. Not sure where youre at but maybe try that before using skin whitening products.

I am of Indian descent too and would be considered "Fair" to people of Indian descent but "Olive" to people of European descent.

Funny how its more attractive to be the opposite of one's skin colour in different cultures lol.

How dark exactly are you? Are you North Indian or South Indian? You can use stuff that contains lemon or papaya. Try to stay away from the things with chemicals in them and go with natural skin lighteners. Girls in India apparently use milk on their face and it works lol!

Dependent on whether you live in a Western country or India, most girls in western countries love the dark skin :)
