I finally received my pair of elevator shoes in the mail today from
I was looking for a pair of shoes that not only would make me a few inches taller, but also provide me with the same comfort of wearing regular shoes. That way I can walk around all day and night without my feet getting sore from wearing shoe lifts (which are not comfortable at all and only provide you with 2 inches max) or some shitty pair of shoes that would just fall apart over time (and probably wouldn't be comfortable to to wear either).
So I decided to try out Don's. Right off the bat, I could tell that the shoes were definitely going to be quality. The site is very well put together and looks a lot more professional than just about every other elevator shoe website I've seen. The selection of shoes they have is also impressive. I ended up going with the
. I like the simple look it has and the way it's shaped. I know I could wear these shoes for just about any occasion.
One of the cool things about shopping for shoes here is that, since the shoes are handmade, you can have them tailored EXACTLY how you want them. You can choose the material, the color, the finish, the sole material, and the shoe height. The only downside to this is since all of the shoes are handmade, they don't come cheap (I paid around $300 for mine). But if you're looking for QUALITY shoes, this shouldn't even be a concern. Since these are going to be me "go to" shoes for getting laid, I decided to have them all black, so it can match with a lot more of my outfits.
Their shoe heights range anywhere from 2 to 5 inches, which is like any other elevator shoe website. The only difference is that some of their shoes come with
Midsole Technology (MST)
which has its ups and downs. Actually, the only downside to MST is that it can't give you more than a 2.75" increase in height. Other than that, MST is one of the main reasons why I got that pair of shoes. They're comfortable as fuck! The slight raise in the heel isn't even a concern. I can feel it there, but my feet do NOT get sore or tired from walking in these things like they would from wearing shoe lifts. I've been wearing them for a while now and the thought of taking them off hasn't even crossed my mind.
Once you buy the shoes, since they're made to order, they won't be at your doorstep the next day or anytime soon. It took me close to a month to receive my pair. The good news is that Don's keeps you updated, so you won't feel like they took your money and forgot about you. I personally got a few e-mails from them letting me know how the shoe was coming along and when they had shipped it. Here are the progress that pics they sent me (they're in the background in the second pic):
The shoes also come in a discrete box if you don't want anyone knowing your business and they're wrapped up so they don't become damaged during the shipping process. All in all, these shoes are LEGIT. If you have money to drop on a solid pair of shoes that will make you taller (I went from 5'7 to 5'10 and I can notice the difference) AND provide you with the same comfort as wearing your favorite pair of dress shoes, then I would highly recommend you check out Don's. Seriously, I'm recommending you guys to get these shoes and I am in NO WAY affiliated with this website or getting any sort of commission if you buy from them, so I have no reason to bullshit you. I just got my pair today and I absolutely fuckin' love 'em, so I would be doing you guys a disservice if I didn't at least tell you about it.
I just got two quite good pair of shoes from him (minor quality problems but wearable) another pair was wrong size and there was no way to have a change or a pay back. The last pair I took was bad quality, low quality glue, I had to put again glue myself. If you buy at Don's to save money there may be risks of actually losing money.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
