My name is Jason, I am now 19 years old and live in Switzerland. About a year ago I started my selfimprovement journey and started working out, writing a diary and making a weekly todo list to improve my quality of life. I used to be very depressed (most of my life) and I was surprised how fast I overcame it, once I had goals and started working out.
To why I am here: I have very poor social skills and social anxiety. Most of the time I spent alone. I am an introvert and my childhood was basicly just me reading books or playing videogames.
Since my journey began I tried to hangout with other people during lunch time and about once a month I go out with collueges. This small change has already helped me to speak clearer and be able to successfuly maintain small talk for a few minutes.
I am starting with the AA-Programm.
I know hoch much exposure therapy can help, since I went to a voluntary program where I had to do presentations in classes where I showed them what my job is and how the apprenticeship is. Has really helped me.
