If you're lifting weights you may be gaining muscle, which means you're losing more fat than what's showing on the scale.
How are you measuring your food? Are you including everything, especially any sauces/condiments? If the scale isn't moving much (which, see above, may not be a bad thing), you're probably eating more than you think (definitely more than 1900 kcal). Calorie estimates can be notoriously inaccurate. That's why it may be easier for fat loss to focus on avoiding sugar and starches and building a diet out of lean meats, vegetables and moderate amounts of healthy fats (i.e. olive oil). You'll spontaneously eat less when you don't eat starchy/sugary carbs. Have you read this ? Don't use BMI, that becomes increasingly meaningless as you get bigger muscles. Do you know how to estimate your body fat percent using calipers? If not I can show you how I do it. Total weight plus body fat percent is what will really tell you if you're getting results (gaining lean mass and/or losing fat). From your pictures, especially last one, you're definitely good to start dating. From here it's just about becoming a top tier hot guy with a six pack and v-shape upper body. If you want to prioritize girls definitely go for that but you're not "too fat to approach". As others mentioned, go try cold approaching, and if it's too much to handle, start the AA program.

It's hard for me to tell if I look good enough to start approaching so your encouragement means a lot! In the last month I've been meticulous about my calorie counting, and I think things are starting to work. I'm back to announce I'm down to 101.4kg. My weight has plummeted in the last 3 weeks. I have lost 5kg since I started! And as you say, I may have lost more fat weight than that, since I have been smashing the weights 3x a week. My waist has gone from 108cm to 105cm. It seems that a lot of people give me that advice to ignore BMI. Even though my BMI is 'overweight', people say it's just not that accurate at my height with a bit of muscle. My face has started to lean out a bit more. Are you sure I can bother approaching. Here's a photo I took last week. I still feel like I need to lose more. But maybe I should give it a go. I'm feeling better about myself though! And I'm in a pretty good routine at the moment. It feels very sustainable. The next 5kg should come along eventually. |

Maybe skinny is not sexy but ripped IS sexy. Don't try to look like a body builder, try to look like a pussy-banger. I use cristiano ronaldo as the ultimate resource for how you should look to attract women. He is 6'1 and hovers between 175-185lbs (79-84kg). Look at what he looks like. A fucking pussy-banging monster that would make 99.99% of chicks cream their panties. As a rough estimate, take 3-5 lbs off that target range for every inch shorter you are than him or add 3-5 lbs for every inch taller you are than him. For me, I'm 6'4 so my target for maximum rippedness would be 184-194. if you're 5'10 I'd estimate between 166-176. Obviously, Ronaldo is an absolute ELITE athlete with access to perfect diet and nutrition and his #1 duty in his life is to keep fit, so it's not reasonable to assume everyone can get these level of leanness without sacrificing muscle mass but its useful to use as a guide. Also, being ripped and lean isn't the only good body look to attract chicks. Look at the NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski. The dude is a mammoth but chicks absolutely swoon over him because of his size. He doesn't look like a bodybuilder though, he just looks BIG. Notice how he's still not weirdly big and it's all rather proportionate for his size. He's not as ripped as Ronaldo, but for a big dude he really is. Basically, take your standard body type (if you're naturally a bit skinny or heavy) and mold it after an icon like that. At the end of the day - fuck the numbers, use your mirror as the best judge. |

Also - DUDE: way to fucking go. You look WAY better than you did at the start of the thread, loads and loads better. Your body type is not blocking you from approaching anymore, you can definitely do it now.
I just read your entire log and can only feel empathy for you man. Your ex sounds like a terrible wench. It's good that you don't hold any negativity towards her because that'll just weigh you down but you have to realize that she really was a terrible, manipulative bitch. The #1 fastest way to get over her is, of course, pounding a new hot girl! My advice for you is to 100% keep going. I don't care what the scale says, you are LOOKING way way better than when you started and that's fucking awesome. Do you live in a major city? Do you have your own place? Is it close to bars? Have you ever tried online dating? I mean this with 100% honesty - you have absolutely nothing wrong looks wise. Your face is def above average and your arms are starting to look great AND you're 6'3. Thanks! That is encouraging! I had a low day yesterday wondering if I'll ever look good enough. I was quite sad thinking about my ex. I nearly started crying at the shops just the other day. I still thought I looked shit but I can see changes. One of my friends said he could tell the changes and doesn't think I'm fat. That was a surprise. I still feel too big. I definitely want to lose more fat, but perhaps I'm alright now to start approaching the way I am. I thought I should look at some old photos and see what has changed. I made this comparison. (I only have photos of me with my ex so I blocked her out.) These are the most recent I have. I never wear lighter colours so I tried some on at the shops. My face has changed a bit lol. I think the hair makes a pretty big difference too. I have been utterly smashing the iron but I think the low calories make it hard for me to make strength gains. I quickly burn out and find my strength falling!!! I have to take a few days off every couple weeks just to get my strength back. I've never been stronger in my life though. I would say. I have tried tinder. I only match fat and rather unattractive girls. The one girl who was pretty cute I matched, I had a good chat with and we agreed to meet up, but she cancelled last minute (half hour before). I was already there so that is what prompted my low day yesterday. I felt like a complete jackass lol.
Damn. I haven't started approaching yet. But I damn well hope that happens! I am hoping for a lay with a 7/10 at some stage, so that'd exceed expectations ![]()

I can also go to the major shopping area for day game no worries. There's always a lot of hotties around. The university is a gold mine. There's no lack of cute girls in my opinion. And I live alone, so no logistical problems there. |

Thanks man! I have been looking forward to a bulk. I do lift but 2000 calories makes it damn impossible to gain muscle. You just burn out.

I thought I was 6'2' or 190cm, but every guy I meet who says he is 6'2 is shorter than me. So I say I'm 6'3 lol. I know I'm tall though that's all that matters. Anyway, 190lb sounds about right. That's 86kg. I was going for 90kg! The mirror is definitely the best. I want to get at least subtle abs! But I guess I can start approaching before I get there. Damn. Start approaching? Fuckity fuck lol. |
