Hey, new to site. Very interesting site by the way. I've already read some of the guides as well.
One key point I've come across in the guides is that you have to try to have above average looks before attempting anything real. I have some pics here from my POF account and am looking for honest opinions and suggestions for improving my looks. I can objectively admit that I am below average looking (I don't believe in self-deprecation) so be as brutally honest as you want/bash it, that's fine. Otherwise I wouldn't be posting here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Some notes: 1- I started balding by the age of 19 and am now completely bald at 29, I tried hair loss prevention with zero results. Is being bald considered a problem for an aspiring douche? 2 - Very skinny, lanky, hard gainer. I was very underweight 5 years ago and started gaining weight with increased protein intake and gym routines. Still very lanky. Is being considered 'thin' a problem for an aspiring douche? welcome man
definitely best pic is without the glasses. Being bald isn't too bad- but having a tan helps a lot (bronzer or real). Keep going hard at the gym. What's your usual daily calorie intake- ever use weight gainers? |

I gave up caloric intake when I started plateauing and switched to counting grams of protein per day which helped me improve after 6 months of no improvement. I was consuming 150 g/day protein.
I have a very very skinny frame, I started out weighing 135 lbs and couldn't even get 35 plates during bench, now I'm around a 195 bench with 215 one rep max. Weight gainers? You mean the high caloric protein mixes? Yeah I use those. Once a day and right after gym. "Your mind is your only limitation, also probably that flat tire."

Keep going to the gym.
Can you grow a full head of thick hair? If not, keep it bald a rock some type on facial hair style - goatee is a solid choice. Get some contacts too, the glasses aren't helping. These suggestions are applicable right now. If I was you I'd wait for the new edition of the seasonal style guide that will probably be coming out soon, and pick up just 1 outfit that you like. Wear it and go to the mall or something and see how much eye contact you get from girls. If girls look at you, they think you're attractive. Lay Count: 21 [Taking Hiatus A From "The Game"]

So yeah, I started counting calories and am at 2900/day.
I've made some gains at the gym, so it looks like upping my cals helped. I'm concerned about how I'm bulking. Does it pay to do a clean bulk? I've read that it saves time from having to cut later and that the human body only puts on 1-2 lbs of muscle a month, but can you gain muscle faster and optimize protein synthesis by eating over 200 cals over maintenance instead of just the 200 over? In other words, will 500 over optimize those gains to the upper limit of muscle growth (2 lbs instead of just 1 or 1.5lbs/month estimated)? It pays to lean bulk. You're adding a tiny bit less muscle doing a clean bulk, but this way you literally spend twice as long bulking than you would dirty bulking. Almost twice as much muscle gain for little fat gain.
Eat 350 over maintenance, especially if your newish to the gym. Your not going to gain much fat off 350kcal.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
