partially agree, no need to do a ton of ab workouts such a time-waster i've been on keto for so long but still try to lift as heavy as i can (to help preserve muscle). i am of the opinion to always go heavy- to effect a strong response (muscle growth), you need an equally strong stimulus (higher intensity of workouts) to provoke change Jman, sorry i forgot how long have you been lifting ? if you're just starting out i suggest Mark Rippetoe's 5x5 basic routine, that's a good foundational 3 days/week split with the basic compound lifts. right now, i am doing a modified version of Layne Norton's PHAT routine "semper virilis" (always manly/masculine)

Hey dude - welcome. yeah the PKGangzta recommended cut is legit.
You have a fucking great basic setup to start out with (body). If you implement a new LIFESTYLE change, and this is important because gains only occur in a consistent, continuous manner, (nothing is gonna happen overnight) you can be a god. Go to the gym everyday, lift heavy and do mainly compound movements. (DEADLIFTS, SQUATS, bench and weighted pull-ups) And most importantly, stop eating processed food(if you do - this is fast-food and any box of food from the store)[(at the least cut the fuck back on it)] Eat right, lift always and follow Chris and the rest of these pimps on this forum and i'll be looking to you for advice on slaying pussy soon. Can't wait to see the progress brotha. stop accepting mediocrity
