So there have been some posts on here lately about "game", "social skills", etc...

While most of us probably agree that "game" is largely BS,

I do think that you need at least basic social skills to get laid.

The problem is though... a lot of people, including my past self, are socially retarded.

As opposed to say, Chris GLL, who seemed pretty normal even before he did the pickup thing.

With these three things, I think you can be "~top 10% in social skills":
  • Confidence - ability to approach girls, feel comfortable around them
  • Self-Expression - "being yourself"
  • Empathy - being "socially aware" (vs. socially retarded)
The first two you could easily just watch some motivational vids on Youtube and fake.

Empathy, though, is something that takes time since you actually need to experience a lot of social situations to know what works and what doesn't.

(For example - ever say something and have the room go completely quiet? You could probably chalk that up to low social awareness)

The issue with "game" shit though, is that if you try to memorize "social dynamics" (classic ones being "is this good game", "am i being alpha")..

You end up overthinking everything and being weirder than before.

Id like to ad something as well

Trying to learn routines and structure usually fucks peoplw up cuz theres so many different things and it can get overwhelming.


But I wouldnt say "game is bullshit" though. Most ppl teach it poorly.

Looking good is one thing but ive seen loads of guys get amogged by uglier dudes (guys with more balls/low inhibition).

Also safety and slut shaming are HUGE for every girl. So looking good and going physical quick will screen alot of girls away even if theyre dtf. Specially if theyre standing with their friends.

Handling objections is also a real thing

@Indian yea I mentioned that in the post and agree with you: memorizing stuff like that makes you overthink EVEN MORE and EVEN WEIRDER.

What I recommended is better for over-analytical types

Yea in the intro I mentioned why both "game" and "looksmaxing" are bad approaches on their own

And yea, knowing how to close is a big topic that I will cover.

@Gabo yea lol looking back it's funny. That girl liked me for most of middle + high school, too
