Just recently moved right down the street from a university that I don't go to. If I get girls numbers what should I say I'm doing there/ if they ask if I go there what should I say. I feel like if I just say I don't go there they will be like wtf and never talk to me again lol

Just say you were thinking about applying and checking out the campus or something

Also if you really live that close you could just say you work on your laptop at the student union sometimes (here's a hint: actually do this so you're telling the truth)

I'd say just go in strong like you would in any other situation. You don't need to justify why you're there. If she asks just say you're meeting up with a friend.. it really doesn't matter.

If the girl likes you and is dtf, she probably won't even care.

I may be wrong but from my experiences in awkward situations that make me look like an idiot (and there have been many!)---things like that end up mattering very little.

I have weak killer instinct but have always had strong general social freedom---probably partly from making myself look dumb all the time---and shitty things always end up being in my own head.

I think thoughts like these are an offshoot of "I hope she likes me game" where you are constantly thinking of "what-if's" that end up muddying your approaches/confidence/self-belief/etc.

Chris has some really good stuff written up on "I hope she likes me" game that I think you would benefit from a lot if you checked out.

I don't know if it's just me but girls didn't usually ask me "what are you doing here?". It's not something that comes up.

I don't think of it as hoping she likes me at all but more so if things continue and these girls find out I don't go there things could get awkward fast. And that's true I mean they probably won't ask what I'm doing there but will ask what year I am, who my professors are, etc. Also when it comes to campus parties how should I go about trying to get invited to them since I literally know nobody there. I'm not going to lie I see people that go there all hitting up grocery stores getting alcohol and I know damn well they're all about to go have a good time and I'm pretty damn jealous lol. What would you guys recommend for getting invited to parties at a university I don't go to?

Make sure you tell them that you dont study there and you're approaching girls on campus because you need to get laid.

As I said, say you are checking the college before joining, say you live nearby, or say you came to meet some friends but don't study there.

I do not know what college culture is in different parts. Some parties are open, legit anyone can come in. Last time I saw some older dudes and they didn't look out of place.

Other parties, yes, you can be seen as outsider or whatever. The best bet for joining a college party is knowing someone there, if you don't, the second easiest thing to do is to have beer / drugs. In the US this should be especially easy since lots of people can't buy alcohol before 21 so you could easily help them out (although I don't know if it's legal). Otherwise just share a joint, get to know some guys and you should fit in, I guess.


You think if I approached some girls it would be easier to go to parties if I hit on them or do you think I should just stick with making guy friends for when it comes to parties?
