How about just approaching more? No one's ever gonna be at their absolute max, I guarantee it's more efficient use of most of us' time to just spend the amount of time on doing more approaches instead of trying to "max out" your looks.
25 y/o virgin before GLL
TRUE, but you can't deny that when you improve your looks, the same girls that rejected you before seem to become "available" Plus, girls who aren't available (have a bf) seem to be flirting exponentially when you get jacked and groomed
At the end of the day, caring about what reason a girl passed up on you is pointless. I just smile, laugh and say SCREENT! and go to the next one. Focus on what you have control over (looks, approach game, lifestyle etc) and less on some reason for rejection that will never get the light of day
In my experience it's both things (and social intelligence, value, ect.. as well).
It's always good to keep striving to better yourself, it would be a super easy out to just say 'oh she's not available' as a blanket statement to every approach that doesn't work out. If an approach doesn't work out, move on to the next and keep improving yourself in the meantime.
I have a feeling that is Brad Pitt wasn't Brad Pitt, and he came to GLL... He would be told to bulk up, instead of approaching more bitches. The question is not a matter of "Will improving my looks benefit me?" it's a question of "Where would my resources be better spent"
Our fictional Brad Pitt would be better off approaching rather than following a bodybuilder lifestyle for months to 'bulk up'
Chris had a post on being above average and how it was good enough to get laid
Lay Count: 21 [Taking Hiatus A From "The Game"]
Before GLL: Zero (Virgin)
The honest answer is that no one exactly knows why a girl (or anyone) does not do something -- even the person herself/himself. With regards to anything, you should worry about the things within your control while accepting some things are outside of your control (girl's sexual availability). I think that is the reason why guys tell others to bulk up/improve your looks.

This is an excellent question. Most things have diminishing marginal utilities. For example, if you have a 6-pack and "Greek ideal" proportions for your height & wrist size, improving your looks more will have a negligible effect on your physical sex appeal.
Everything else is experiential/experimental with some mentorship. For example, GLL/stylist recommends something and you use it, but knowing exactly what outfits get you the most compliments/lays will require you to experiment.
To really learn, you need to gather data/keep a diary and maybe review your "experiences/experiments" with a trusted mentor.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
