Ok guys. I live in New York City. Well not in the city itself but a quiet part of Brooklyn that has no real bars or anything of the sort for at least a 20 minute drive. People always say that living in a big city is great but I think literally unless you live in an area where you can walk to the hotspots, it's not a big advantage. Like it's cold outside here. I am wondering where you guys would go to meet lots of women. Bear in mind I would be going out alone for the most part. I mean I know very few guys who would go out with me but I don't see them as a help. They might actually slow me down. What are good spots worth driving to in the area to do both day and night stuff. Thank you so much in advance for your help guys. I really appreciate it.

I'm from brooklyn here too. Winter is not the best time to be hitting on girls outside. If you are outside the best places are near streets with alot of foot traffic. Indoors especially malls and subway stations are pretty good. Bars are good near park slope or williamsburg. If she is dtf she should be up for taking a uber or a train ride home with you.

That's what I did. I used to live in Shreveport, LA and there were very few hot girls there. A few, but not many. Yes I had anxiety and didn't approach that much, but a big part of that is that there weren't that many hot girls around to begin with.

I moved to Tempe, AZ in June and now live about a mile from Arizona State University. Now there are hot girls everywhere I go, so there's plenty of opportunity. Plus I like Phoenix better anyway--better weather, bigger city so there's more stuff to do, lots of young people so it's very social, etc.

My friend and fellow GLL-er Richie did the same thing--he moved from a small town in Western Massachusetts to Tempe in August. He says it's the best decision he ever made.


Great to hear you are liking Phoenix. Have you checked out old town scottsdale? There are some hot women up here and most of my friends from other major cities are blown away by it.

As for the OP, I have a friend in NYC who is shy and passive with women and even he gets dates from time to time. He just finds activities that he likes and meets women through that. He says there are so many people that if you are out doing stuff its hard not to meet people. So I am suggesting that you do the same.
