Hello folks,
I am thinking about trying finasteride (probably will try the topical version first), and I think it should all be fine, but I still wanted to get some bloodwork done just in case, to minimize the chance that I get side effects. I was interested to read this post by MPMD: moreplatesmoredates.com/post-finasteride-syndrome/ Derek seems to be suggesting that there are a number of red flags that you should watch out for in your blood test results, that might imply that you're not going to respond well to finasteride. I find that very interesting, but I am struggling to reduce Derek's post to the essentials. This could have to do with the fact that I have no experience interpreting bloodwork, so maybe I simply am struggling to understand the post's punchline. Could anyone here help me with that? I would like to get a simple list of "Things to look out for in your blood tests before starting finasteride." From Derek's post, it seems to me that I should watch out for the following: - Make sure that my estrogen levels aren't on the top end of the reference range. - Make sure that my androgen index isn't too low. Is that roughly correct? I would really appreciate it if some of the folks here could help me with this, especially the folks who have experience interpreting bloodwork. Thanks a lot in advance, Vasil |

Hi, interesting article.
I'm your same situation about thinking to start finasteride. I already checked my hormonal levels I have a very high Testosterone level around 1.000 ng/dl. So I should be fine by taking Finasteride for you? |

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
Kratom is next!
