Already on fin, laser cap, nizoral. My hair has always been very fine and my hairline needs some help, as well as slightly on top/sides. I've been on fin for about 9 months and everything else about 4 and haven't seen any regrowth, maybe just slower hair loss.
Was wondering if minoxidil has helped anyone here, especially those with fine hair. I'm just kind of worried about getting on it and it not helping or possibly causing further damage to my hair. |

Minoxidil turns the baby hair (vellus) into thicker hair (terminal). It is best to start it before the hair is gone. For me I started when it started receeding and I grew back a little bit and mostly stopped it from pushing my hairline back further.
Minox is an investment because they say you lose the hair gains when you go off. So don't hop on if you don't plan on staying on it. 30x12 is $360 a year. For me it is worth it because I lose a shit ton of hair if I slack on it or even switch brands. Show pictures if you want real advice PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

Idk what type of minoxidil you're getting but I have the foam which is a hell of a lot cheaper than $30 a month.

I've tried both the foam and the liquid.
The liquid is dirt cheap - $20 for six months. But it makes my hair look quite greasy. (My former gf thought I was trying to audition for Grease lol). The foam is definitely a better product but I think the stuff I bought was about $30 per month. If you found it cheaper somehow, kudos. 2020 Goals: A] 0/2 work projects completed; B] 8.4/9.0 photofeeler attractiveness; C] 200/180 lbs squat, 185/180 lbs bench, 300/200 lbs deadlift.

Bought walmart brand foam 3 month supply is $30. I thought Kirkland was around this price range as well. I guess I'll hop on it soon, haven't used it on my hair yet just beard.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
