I've been using RegenePure for close to 2 years with great results. Little to no shedding, except when I started Minoxidil (stopped it a while ago, since it's super pricy in Korea).

Since last week though, I've suddenly been shedding more whenever I wet/comb my hair, and shedding like CRAZY when I take a shower. Like Minoxidil-shedding-phase crazy. Possibly worse. It's freaking me out because I think I can even notice my problem areas getting even thinner.

I have no idea what could be causing this. I haven't made any major lifestyle changes in the last 2 weeks. I'm not wearing hats because its balls-hot right now. I'm on Zoloft for depression, and it's possible that's the case, but I've already been on it for over 2 months... so i don't know why it'd take so long to start now. I'm even using a natural volumizing conditioner.

Has this happened to anyone else?


P.S. Over the past several months I've been working on beating back my depression, with success. So it's possible that this has increased my testosterone levels, which has increased my level of DHT, and Regenepure is no longer enough on its own. That could be total bullshit, but it's my only other theory besides the Zoloft.

Regenepure is uber weak. If that was stopping or reversing your loss you either didn't have hair loss or was that the earliest stages possible. So it's either your hair loss is just getting more aggressive or as you stated it could be your medication. And yes it can take months depending on what phase your hair is in ( you could of been entering the anagen phase right before yours meds) so therefore you wont see loss until months later.

Once you stop minoxidil, all the hair that you kept while on it, will disappear in a week.
